    He was a straight beast but the hype on here is unreal. Its definatly true but its crazy to me how this whole board seems to think he is a God now, when these same people hate his style of fighting. You probally would call him the most boring guy you ever saw. When he was fighting there were a ton of people who hated to watch him and thought he was the most boring guy in the game. Now people act like they all love him. 20 years from now they will probally be doing the same thing about Floyd

            I think so too but I think in order for people to do that they first want to see that fighter lose. Roy jones was hated by many too but once he lost 3 in a row those same people started ranking him as one of the all-time greats referring to him as unbeatable at his prime and such.

              Whitaker doesn't go on telling people he's better than Leonard or Ali.

                Pernell Whitaker is without a doubt the best fighter of his type there has ever been. At his peak he was simply unbeatable.

                He'd beat Floyd Mayweather...
