I didn't say the vast majority of it had gone, I didn't call him shot. I was just saying that the Tszyu that Hatton fought was different from the Tszyu that Judah fought.

Take it as a moral victory if you wish though.
No doubt about it. But were you around the time when Hatton fought Tszyu? I can guarantee you 95% of the guys said Tszyu would be too much. Everyone was saying the layoff wouldn't effect him yada yada. Ever since Hatton beat him, the tune changed. Tszyu was out of prime. Homefield advantage.

I can go on and on. Just bitter excuses from bitter fans.

Are we supposed to refuse to believe what our eyes and ears tell us? Some human behaviour is so typical, even more so with boxers, that you can receive some insight. Spare me the psychobabble old timer.
The scared bit has been a big undertone in many threads appearing on the board lately ,, you are to make of the press conference whatever you make , are you too refuse what your eyes tell you ,, no , but you should question your interpretation .

No I wasn't around, and if I was, I would have said Tszyu would have been too much for him too. Hatton was a nobody back then. Hoes didn't even want him, but now he's hot and hoes all on him.

That's called revisionism, and it hits close to home for me, considering I like Mayweather. Watch the Countdown to Mayweather-Baldomir, and see what everyone said about that fight. "It's an even fight." "Floyd has never fought anyone like Baldomir."

Even Bert Sugar said, "Baldomir has a damn good chance of winning this fight."

Ummm, yeah, obviously they were mistaken, but that's why I get upset when people talk **** on Floyd for fighting Baldomir. Ya know?

Back on topic, I never said Tszyu was shot, I just said he was a bit removed from his prime, which no one can dispute... his best days were behind him, but that's not to say that his days leading up to Hatton were ****ty, they were still great, just not his best. Not prime, but still an excellent fighter who Hatton should be able to claim on his resume and not get dimes talked on him for it.

There's something alot of boxing experts do in interviews with HBO. It's called hyping the fight. Joe Rogan does the same for UFC. No one's going to buy a fight that basically has an A-class fighter vs. a fighter who is a little better then journeyman.

Go read back on the boards here and you will see that most guys were calling Baldomir a ****ty champ and calling Floyd a pansy for even fighting the guy. Baldomir proved his worth...nothing more then a limitied PLODDER with an iron head and a huge size advantage. Big deal.

But anyway. Im rambling...back on topic.

Hindsights the easy way out. Let's just call it like it is. Tszyu was P4P #2 at the time when he fought Hatton. Fact or fiction?

People are saying Floyd is a ***** for fighting Hatton now, what's your point? The better fighter seems to always get called a ***** for fighting the lesser fighter.

Haha, you can stop arguing so fiercely with me about the actual topic, I'm 98% agreeing with you.

            I thought he was P4P #3 though. I can't remember.

I never interpreted Floyd's behaviour at the press conference as acting scared. I never stated that. In fact, at least three times I've specifically said, "just because he was nervous doesn't mean he was scared." I simply observed that Floyd looked nervous to me. That's the extent of it. You may have seen it differently, and that's ok.

If this was the beginning of the head game, Hatton's up 1-0. Floyd was hyper. He even did a little dance routine that went off embarassingly. He constantly insulted Ricky, but the delivery was different. The usual smooth arrogance that I was looking for was missing. He invaded Hatton's personal space in attempt to intimidate Hatton, but Ricky was implacable and serene. Hatton displayed the confidence of a man that was intently focused and prepared to hurt somebody. Objectively speaking, this is not starting well for Floyd. He better get his head on straight, and in a hurry. It's going to be interesting to watch the game play out before the fight.

I've heard this exact same thing after the Oscar press conference. We all know how that fight went. We can try to believe Floyd is nervous but he isnt' the darn bit nervous. It's him being his usual self and if anything it was Hatton whose abit upset. Watch his 1 on 1 interview after the conference. He said how Floyd has treated them like crap and if Floyd has a good side, he has yet to see it. To me, that's like Hatton feels hurt by the things Mayweather is saying and doesn't know how to deal with it. Let's see how the rest of the conferences go.

I haven't heard anybody call Floyd a ***** for fighting Hatton. Not saying it hasn't happened, but I haven't seen it.
