I dont think either are nervous above normal human feelings for the first show of a big tour , these 2 are pro fighters of the highest calibre they have fought people since they could walk , this scared of each other bull**** is your own youth mentality , Hatton and Floyd dont think the way you do ,, some of you guys are seeing things that dont exist and thats because without even knowing it your brains mix information from your eyes with your subconscious and its already pre-conceived likes and dislikes that were formed out of your lifes experiences so far , we call it bias ,, and after that calculation your mouth reports an interpretation which as a young fella is wrong most of the time .
Trouble with wisdom is that its not untill you are an old fart that you really know what it is .Comment

lol.........well some of what you stated makes good sense! But, who said anybody was "scared?" And, what are we to make of press conferences when the contenders face up? Are we supposed to refuse to believe what our eyes and ears tell us? Some human behaviour is so typical, even more so with boxers, that you can receive some insight. Spare me the psychobabble old timer.I dont think either are nervous above normal human feelings for the first show of a big tour , these 2 are pro fighters of the highest calibre they have fought people since they could walk , this scared of each other bull**** is your own youth mentality , Hatton and Floyd dont think the way you do ,, some of you guys are seeing things that dont exist and thats because without even knowing it your brains mix information from your eyes with your subconscious and its already pre-conceived likes and dislikes that were formed out of your lifes experiences so far , we call it bias ,, and after that calculation your mouth reports an interpretation which as a young fella is wrong most of the time .

Foreman had 24 fights since he came back before he fought Holyfield. He also only had a 7 month layoff before the Holyfield fight.
Also, 36 is not that far off from 40.Comment

Age is just a number. Mccallum looked decent in his 40's and Fernando Vargas looked like **** at about 28. It's all about how much you get hit and your work ethic. If you stayed in shape all year round (like Tszyu did) and constantly tried to improve you can always beat your youth. not in terms of physical strength and explosivness but technique and mental capacity...you can. Believe it.
And Tszyu stayed at 140 for YEARS. his whole career. A testament to his work ethic. Even when he was a grown man he was still fighting at the same division he was always in.Comment

Not really... my point wasn't that a fighter can't be good past the age of 35. I was merely saying that some of Tszyu's skill and ability had left him come time when he fought Hatton. I didn't say the vast majority of it had gone, I didn't call him shot. I was just saying that the Tszyu that Hatton fought was different from the Tszyu that Judah fought.
Take it as a moral victory if you wish though.Comment
