I think Oscar is a lot to bite off. I think Hatton should stick to small welters if he stays at 147, he is awfully short for the division.

Floyd isn't taking this seriously. It's an act. It is just a persona that he puts on.

As evidence of that, you will see 180 degree reversal of approach when he gets on DwS. Floyd will be humble and media-friendly on that show.

I have always stated that Floyd's intent is two-fold: to give people something to write about, and to annoy (not intimidate) his opponent.

On the first point, that is wildly successful. Just look at this thread and this entire forum.

On the second point, FMJ has achieved some more limited success there because Ricky has started expressing some disappointment that Floyd has not shown him respect. ricky is VERY good-humoured about it, but he is stung by the constant slew of insults.

It is ironic that ricky hatton has said that Floyd is very skillful, but too small for him. And then when they are face-to-face, Floyd tells Ricky that he is "too small".
