I thought you said you'd root for Floyd in this one?
The way I see it, The Paler holds the entire future wellbeing of this forum in his hands. Sure, if he wins, we'll have to listen to green teefs crowing for a bit, but they'll shut up eventually. Floyd fans of the "yo, LMAO, pwn!" variety NEVER STFU.Comment

If I did say that, I've changed my mind. Hatton vs. DLH would make for some fireworks.I thought you said you'd root for Floyd in this one?

As long as the judges allow mayweather to earn wins through pitter and patter, why not let Hatton hug and hold?Whether you like or dislike Hatton, you have to admit that he holds and hits (which is illegal in boxing) nonstop and is rarely warned for it. Against the #1 rated boxer in the world, will the referee(whoever they may be) allow Hatton to cheat like he has in his last handful of fights?Comment

Who would you take on that? My initial reaction was Oscar, too big. But the guy's getting old, and he doesn't have that much fire left in his belly - Ricky certainly won't give him "fuel to the flame" and he's not the sort of guy that - IMO - seems to care if he loses any more.
The way to beat Oscar is just to get him past nine rounds as he's shagged out then... mind you, The Paler's stamina has been ****ty lately as well.Comment

the question should be "will the ref allow hatton to hold" just as much as it should be "will the ref allow mayweather to get on his bike for 2 minutes of every round?"
one likes to hold and hit, the other likes to hit and run. personally, they both should be forced to box toe-to-toe. no running, and no hold-n-hit either.Comment
I hope Hatton can beat Mayweather.
