one likes to hold and hit, the other likes to hit and run. personally, they both should be forced to box toe-to-toe. no running, and no hold-n-hit either.
Well you should write a letter to the all the commissions, because I don't think it's actually illegal to avoid punches (or get on a "bike" as you say), but holding and hitting certainly has been deemed illegal.

My guess is that the referee will allow Mayweather to sprint around the ring if he wants, because, well, you know, it's within the rules.

ehh if they get on Hatton for doin that now in his career, they would have to get on Floyd for using his forearms.

Far be it for me to speak for him, but I think it's a reference to when Floyd does that "duck wing" thing with his elbows blocking the incoming shots. When a fighter comes forward he keeps the stance so that his elbow goes into the opponent's throat... it's been particularly notable in his last two bouts. (ISTR Oscar made a choking face and motioned to the ref during one of the first four rounds).

Though it's not something I'm keen on, I'd say it's nowhere as frequent as Hatton's transgressions. That said, if Nady is reffing this, the Paler is ****ed.

Mayweather will be too busy running like a Cheetah for Hatton to catch him to hold him.
