After Hatton gets hit hard, early and often, he will be verrrry wary about how he comes in.

I don't perceive Hatton to be as fast of hand or foot as Oscar Delahoya. Or Judah. Or Corley.

Except that Oscar is much taller, longer , stronger and quicker-handed than Hatton.

Hatton has a chance to make this like Ali-Frazier. But Frazier was extremely durable. And Ali's weakness as a fighter was his shotty defense. MA took a lot of shots in his career because he had an A+ chin.

Floyd doesn't take those shots. So Ricky has to find a way to hit FMJ without taking the punishment coming in. In my opinion, that doesn't mean constant pressure. Floyd is a smart fighter who will adjust to whatever he sees. Ricky should vary between pressure, jabbing, peek-a-boo, etc. He can't get predictable. He has to throw a few different things at Floyd.

Oscar had just spent training camp sparring with Shane. After the fight, Oscar said "wow...he's fast". Arturo Gatti said that it wasn't just the hand speed, but also the foot and upper-body speed.

Ricky has to prepare himself for the possibility that Floyd is faster than he imagined. There is no way to train for that speed. Floyd's speed is like Tyson's power. You hear about it and expect it. But then you experience it and you are like, "wow".

Floyd can get strong fighters or pressure fighters to mimic Ricky. But how does Ricky get someone to remotely approximate what PBF brings?

Don't you think the version of mayweather who was moving up from 130 to fight a much bigger Castillo is a far different version of the mayweather who has been fighting the JMW's and MW's?

I think the mistake that hatton is making is that he is banking on a strength advantage that just isn't there. Floyd isn't a big man....but he ain't Cory Spinks. PBF is a strong kid. Especially after training with Kofi Jantuah and Daniel Edouard for Carlos Baldomir and Oscar Delahoya. You don't go hundreds of rounds with big guys just on speed. You get much stronger, too.

Come On!!! I am picking Mayweather in this one..

But I wont sit here and listen to people who dont what the **** they are talking about.. And I mean people who have seen one Hatton Fight and have decided they are NOW experts on the subject...

Please.. When people talk about Hatton being ****.. you simply make yourself out to be an Ignorant fool..
No his Skills are not those of Floyd Mayweather.. But his hand and foot speed are well above average.. You all need to educate yourselves before shooting your mouths off..
