Hatton is making a big mistake by thinking constant pressure alone can beat Mayweather. If this "constant pressure" doesn't work, what will he do? He should be looking at more than just the Castillo and DLH fights.

Hatton has a chance to make this like Ali-Frazier. But Frazier was extremely durable. And Ali's weakness as a fighter was his shotty defense. MA took a lot of shots in his career because he had an A+ chin.

Floyd doesn't take those shots. So Ricky has to find a way to hit FMJ without taking the punishment coming in. In my opinion, that doesn't mean constant pressure. Floyd is a smart fighter who will adjust to whatever he sees. Ricky should vary between pressure, jabbing, peek-a-boo, etc. He can't get predictable. He has to throw a few different things at Floyd.

Is Ricky crafty enough to do that, has he shown the ring smarts to switch things up at the drop of a hat, show different styles, and confuse his opponents in a chess-like type boxing match? I haven't seen this yet but who nows, Rickety may have something up his sleeve.

yeah Dios I agree .. that when Oscar was straight up boxing, using his jab he was much more effective

when he came forward and flurried he looked like an idiot

I was laughing my ass off ... who throws a body shot with the SIDE of the glove?

how can pattering your opponent with the side of the glove be effective at all?

            it was hysterical to watch.

Everybody and their mother said thats the key to beating Floyd. Once you get hit that plan goes out of the window.

Ricky says he is going to constantly pressure Floyd, but once he get hit and he taste his power I seriously doubt that he will stick to that gameplan. Getting hit makes you change a lot of **** you do.

Ricky is saying that he will pressure and attack Floyd's body. That is fine. Great plan. But what exactly will Floyd be doing with his hands while Rick goes to PBF's body?

PBF throws 40 punches per round. Almost like a metronome. That is his comfort zone. What will Hatton do to prevent 25 of those from landing on his face?

My avatar is Hatton after 12 rounds with feather-fisted Collazo. He busts up easily. Hatton needs a DEFENSIVE plan for this fight. Not just an offensive one.

If Floyd loses, neither he nor his fans can use 'Dancing' as an excuse.
Just because he knows the repercussions doesnt mean it cant be an excuse. The fact is he is not focusing on the Hatton fight and that can change the outcome. It's a valid excuse, though ****** on his part (if he loses).

I am willing to bet that PBF won't be on "Dancing with the Stars" long at all. I can see PBF on there for a couple of epidoses to raise his name recogintion with mainstream America. Then he will get voted off with plenty of time to focus on the fight and keep his name profile up because he will be doing promotion for the fight from the time he is on the show up until the fight.

Then you improvise and use your instincts. You dont defeat yourself and prepare for failure. This mentality you have.
