I'm not trying to make excuses. But it was obvious to me that the Corrales fights took a lot out of Castillo, they sure did take a lot out of Corrales if you watched his fights after that.

That "ancient DLH" would have gutted Hatton like a fish that night. Or any night.

I know, what I meant was that before the Hatton-Castillo fight, like 99% of the people would say there was no way Hatton was gonna KO Castillo, it wasn't even on the mind of some people that Hatton would KO him, and he actually did it. I was just stating that people are saying the same thing about Hatton in the Floyd fight.

Isn't it a coincidence how all these guys start going down for the first time later in their careers ? SRL...RJJ.. JLC...?

          Strange, huh?

I don't know that comparing a shot, inactive, troubled fighter to a prime, elite, fit fighter is a smart thing to do.

Offensively Floyd changed after the fight with Corley(with the exception of Gatti AKA human punching bag) Floyd has put Defense far above going after his opponents and risking getting caught. I think the couple of times Corley stung him made him very leary of that situation.

Corley is fast but has neither explosiveness or power. Those shots he was hitting Floyd with looked like pitty pat punches. If Hatton gets Mayweather in that position he's done for.

the fact is mayweather knows hatton can hurt him, so hes not going to stand and trade he only does that with fighters he can physically dominate, what he does do works though.
