I havnt ever seen an little known guy take so punch spotlight from an elite fighter thats undisputed, undefeated and has fought elites,EVER!
I'm not saying that Pavlik is gonna knock him out. i think it may take that for him to get a win. You can't deny that Taylor has not impressed in about his last five fights. he arguably lost one to B-Hop, he was backed up the entire night by Wright who was the smaller man and is not a big puncher, and had Wright not taken the last rounf\d off he would have clearly won although I don't feel taylor did enough to win the round either. he next fought Ouma who was a blown up jr. middleweight, who was suppose to be taylor made for him. Ouma was smaller, not a big puncher, and he was gonna come at him all night. He hit Ouma with some big shots and Ouma walked through them and kept coming. Next was Spinks aldso a blown up 154lbs and we all know has feather in his fists, once again he was not impressive. All Iam saying is that if he does this aginst Pavlik he could be in a lot of trouble. If he lets pavlik preasure and back him up he could possibly get put down. Ouma didn't have the power to apply with the preasure that pavlik has. I will give him respect if he beats him soundly, but if he gets by on another close contreversial decision and puts on a boaring performance he deserve all the criticism he gets. I just don't think it is a coincidence that he has had so many lack luster performances. I just don't think he is as good as he is hyped to be. How long do we have to continue to wait and see the supposed potential?

I really thought Manny was going to hemorrhage on that one.

A argument can be made for any fighters opponents. You can make alot of elite fighters opponents look like ****.I remember someone did it with Ali,and it was all good points.Breaking down a fighters resume and making it look like he fought ****ty opposition is extremely easy.

Lately, he's been doing his own thing and not listening to a word Manny tells him until Manny gets pissed and yells at him, like the Spinks fight.

I swear I thought Steward was going to have a heart attack.
Have you noticed in his last few fight how frustrated manny has been with taylor between rounds because he won't listen to him?

Yeah. Because Taylor hasn't listened to him in the past few fights very well, and not at all in the Spinks fight. Manny likes his fighters to be aggressive and enforce their will on their opponets, and Taylor hasn't done that yet. He may well do it against Pavlik but it remains to be seen at this point.

I'm not saying his opposition was ****ty,I am saying that he should have performed better and more impressively especially aginst the smaller guys with no power like Ouma and Spinks. I realize that it is hard to look good agonst Hop and Winky, but I felt he didn't win one of the hopkins fights and was shocked at the way Winky was backing him down. All I am saying is that I don't beleive he can make those same mistakes against Pavlik and get away with it.

Jermain will take care of business on the 29th and then move up to 168.

I don't know, I just don't think that after doing this for so long, that he can just change it over night. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
