i remember that and thinking "what a *****"!!!!!! I thought there was no way that fight was gonna happen that statement also reminded me of Floyd. Like I said, i don't think he had a choice because he would have taken too much heat.

Zertuche, Mckart, Zuniga, all of which were unstopped at the time, and Pavlik destroyed them.

If Miranda came in at 170, as unweight drained as possible, theres no freakin way he could be Pavlik going Backwards. He may have lasted longer, but not much, i mean cmon.

I just been lookin at this fight for a while, and i think Pavliks advantages are more prominant in this fight then Taylors, even though Taylor has some goodens. Like Speed and footwork.

Like i said though, If Taylor beats him ill give him all the credit he deserves

Yeah, that's cool. This site is notorious for nuthuggers, I'm sure every fighter has a couple at least. I just admire and respect Pavlik's work ethic and dedication, he hasn't fought a lot of well known guys aside from Miranda but he fought absolutely anybody he could and really worked his ass off to get this title shot. And not a lot of guys have worked as hard as he has for a title shot, I don't think Taylor did for his first shot against Hopkins.

I think Taylor got that shot by default because he was HBO's "next big thing". Before Hopkins, Taylor never beat anybody who was on level with Miranda as far as a highly feared opponet goes. Before Pavlik exposed him, most people thought Miranda was unbeatable. And definitely impossible to knockout.

Your talking about who has Pavlik fought before taking this fight, and all I asked was who had taylor fought before fighting Hopkins the undisputed champ at the time.

PS: I know im favoring Pavlik a lot in my posts, but if Taylor wins ill be the first one on here giving him his props

EDIT: who agrees with this idea? All fights between UP AND COMERS, should be put on Basic Cable for the world to see. That way, regardless of who wins, its a win-win situation for the sport of boxing. thoughts?
What's he mean "try"? He makes the VS. cards...

Thats exactly what I have been saying. HBO is pushig this guy hard to be the next big thing because they know there golden goose Oscar is on his way out. Thats what I ask of people who say he hasn't fought anyone. Who had taylor fought beofre he got the shot at Hopkins.

Who? Taylor has tied and beat elites.Controversial or not.Bernard,Winky,Ouma,Spinks. The guys Pavlik has beaten dont even hold a candle to these 4 guys. Pavlik hasnt experienced an elite fighter.Just because he has a **** load of kos doesnt mean he's going to bulldoze threw Taylor as if Taylor has 5 loses all by 1 hit kos. He's no George Foreman.

Well besides Joppy,I guess no one huge, but he never got threated as if he's the Mike Tyson/Ali of the division. You guys are taking this Pavlik talk alittle too far.As if he's the Undisputed Champion and not Taylor. I havnt ever seen an little known guy take so punch spotlight from an elite fighter thats undisputed, undefeated and has fought elites,EVER!
