i think there is a reason they didn't want to put him in with a big puncher all this time. He is in a situation now where he has no choice and would have taken a lotof heat had he passed up this fight. If Hop was able to stun him that isn't saying much about his chin, because Hop has never been known as a big puncher. I think your right, i don't feel he is gonna be able to keep Pavlik off of him the whole fight. He is gonna take some big shots from Pavlik and if he is not able to keep him off he is gonna be geting picked up off the canvas.
1 More Reason to Root for PAVLIK

Yeah, I meant convincingly. I don't want to see Taylor skate on his ass again with another razor thin decision, I grew tired of that **** after the first Hopkins fight. If Taylor does well and really beats Pavlik, I'll respect him all the more. If he skates by barely and wins a draw or split decision, I'll never watch him fight again. Because I've given him chance after chance to prove to me that he wants to be the Champion. If he beats Pavlik convincingly, and not another bull**** contreversial decision. i don't see that happening though. If he happens to win I don't see it being anything but that. There is no way he is hurting Pavlik, if Miranda hit him with flush shots and couldn't hurt or put him down. I think Pavliik is gonna preasure him and be right in his face the whole fight, and that could be trouble for Taylor.
Up until now, he's made it by doing the bare minimum. September 29th is gut check time, might be chin check time too.Comment

I pretty much agree with all of your points, except for taylor being able to limit his output. Ouma had no power to do anything with the preasure he was applying, that won't be the case with Pavlik. Ouma was a blown up jr. middle and even though he was landing big shots on Ouma, Ouma walked right through them and kept comin forward. Ouma was also taylor made for Taylor. He was smaller, not a big puncher and came straight at him, and still Taylor couldn't put him away.WEAK. well not weak, but far from strong. Wright hurt him twice in their fight, Spinks buzzed him a bit with a right hand, Hopkins hurt him in the first fight i think... Hes never been in with a puncher like Pavlik.
If its a brawl, i think he can stand up to it though. I think he'll get hurt, but he does have heart and grit, and he'll show it by weather some storms and coming back.
Pavlik just throws to many punches. If Taylor can fight like he did against Ouma, where Ouma was only able to get off like 40 punches a round, He could win.
But Pavliks bigger, stronger, and better then Ouma. If Pavlik gets off anywhere in the 70's or higher a round, Taylor absolutely cannot last even half the fight IMO. He'd get caught to many times and he dont have the heart or chin Miranda has.
He can try to box, but i think after 2 or 3 rounds he's gonna have to brawl. Pavliks pressure could be too much for Taylor.
People say PAVLIK is tailor made for Taylor... Taylors never faced anything like Pavlik. They play on eachothers strenghts, which is why its gonna be FOTYComment

I don't care if boxing is on 'cable'. There are too many options on tv, it's never going to be the case that everyone watches like 20 or 30 years ago. But we get to watch more boxing than people did 30 yrs ago, b/c we have pay tv and internet downloads. Makes no difference to usComment

A whole slew of confident people actually waging on Pavlik.
In my book, that's a terrible idea. I don't think he's on Taylor's level.....and the difference in speed is going to be incredible right off the bat.
