White people didn't invent tribal discrimination (of which racism is a form), even if it turns out that in some sense we invented 'race'. So it wouldn't be a 360. The seeds of discrimination are present in all people, and the form (black, white, etc.) it now has was just added onComment

Not sure what this implies? Firstly, if you understood the Rwandan conflict, it wasn't "racially motivated" since by definition, Hutu and Tutsi are both Bantu. Europeans imposed some fake "Hamite" classification on the Tutsi, which lead to some jealousy, however, conflict between these peoples were boiling over ever since the pre-colonial kingdom of Rwanda and had nothing to do with "racism".. Hitler on the other hand, was racially motivated.Comment

Discrimination is a survival mechanism. You see someone who is different than you (in a hunter gatherer society) then they are a direct and mortal threat to your wellbeing. And considering we evolved this entirely natural discrimination far slower than society has evolved we still feel it acutely today.
Hence you will never ever stop racial discrimination or prejudice by making laws about it, much less by separating the races from each other. Integration and exposure is 100% the only way to end racism. It is a lot easier to hate nameless faceless groups of people who are superficially different than you than it is to hate people whith whom you can find a common ground.Comment

I think Kayjay's comments lie more along the lines that black people, for justifiable cultural and social reasons believe that race is more important [to whites] than it actually is. Black communities particularly in the US but to a lesser degree also elsewhere have a tendency to see racism where there is none. I'm not saying that race is a non-issue, of course it is an issue. I'm a mean looking white guy witha shaved head and despite this I have never been pulled over by the cops for any reason. A friend of mine is well dressed, respectable looking and black and he is frequently pulled over. Racism is real and still happens, there's no use pretending that it isn't.
At the same time not every decision a white person makes about a black person is based on skin colour. In fact the kind of person who makes a decision about a person based on skin colour is probably rarer now than they ever have been in human history. And bringing the topic back to boxing, if someone says that say Floyd Mayweather is a gett-faux hip-hop punk, they are not having a dig at his colour, they're having a dig at his attitude, his comments, his lousy lousy rap videos etc. They may call Judah a bad thug. Does he disprove it when he is caught on camera helping his five friends kick the crap out of someone for cheating in a street dice game? Hey Scott Harrison is a horrid little pisshead. Does that make me racist against white people? Hell no.
Interesting comments about the slave trade by the way. There seems to be an impression that white people were invading Africa, rounding up natives and shipping them off to the Americas. In reality taking ****** was a hallmark in regional tribal warfare (and in fact in most chieftain/warrior societies view the taking of women and male ****** as an integral aim of inter-tribal war) and when white Europeans showed up the local tribes quickly saw the value in trading ****** they had captured for guns and ammunition which helped chiefs to consolidate their power and capture more ******. The slave trade, as loathsome as it was, was not started for reasons of racial hatred. It was a purely financial consideration for most of the people involved. That the victims were black is almost incidental. The principle victims of Roman slavery were white, white and black people were the principle victims of slavery by the arabs and persians, ***s (the Israelites) were very famously the ****** of the Egyptians... Black ****** are simply a recent example of an abhorrent but very human practise that continues to this day in various parts of the world.
Actually Europeans created division between the African tribes so they could
fight each other and kidnap each other to sale them to the Europeans.
The Europeans learned that divide and conquer trick from the Arabs.the Arabs
used that tactic on Africans thousands of years before.
Europeans use this same tactic today to take over African land and resources.
all the gold that you see here is stolen from Africa.Comment

Black people had no tribal affiliations in America and yes, white people invented the racial classification scheme. "Negroid, Caucasoid, Mongoloid (black, white, yellow), and the rest of those arbitrary fake classifications that changed definitions every 20 years.White people didn't invent tribal discrimination (of which racism is a form), even if it turns out that in some sense we invented 'race'. So it wouldn't be a 360. The seeds of discrimination are present in all people, and the form (black, white, etc.) it now has was just added onComment

No that was as racially motivated as it gets that **** in Africa. you confuse Nationalism for racism, in fact I dont think you can distinguish the two.Not sure what this implies? It's just that by the way you type, you make it seem like blacks are the only people that get bashed based on race, and that they're the only race that's not racist.Comment

According to what evolutionary/psychological model? Maybe you should read "Before Color Prejudice" by the late Frank Snowden to see why historically, this isn't necessarily true.
Again, according to what evolutionary model did we evolve a need to discriminate? Conversely, it is said that selection focuses more on working together and forming better and more complex social relationships, as human beings being physically inept, had to learn how to work together and communicate. I have sources for this also as I was just reading about it days ago..And considering we evolved this entirely natural discrimination far slower than society has evolved we still feel it acutely today.
The way to end racism, according to the evolutionary model alluded to above, is to evolve more, period. There is no benefit to the survival of a species by way of discriminating, that is a flaw that has been reworked for thousands of years, yet we still haven't progressed beyond that primitive urge.Hence you will never ever stop racial discrimination or prejudice by making laws about it, much less by separating the races from each other. Integration and exposure is 100% the only way to end racism. It is a lot easier to hate nameless faceless groups of people who are superficially different than you than it is to hate people whith whom you can find a common ground.Comment

On another note, do you want to go ahead and pay me my 2000 points now or wait until PBF wins. We know the fight is just a detail to get out of the way.
