I hate to admit it, but it's a very big possibility. And i think the only reason is the PPV's boxing has. It's ridicolous. You can never expect a champ to be a household name these days like in the past because only true fans buy PPV's. To normal people it doesn't interest them. If a channel like ESPN, which is very popular and free had big upcoming fights, I think boxing wouldn't be in this situation right now. There's a fight in UFC that's Jackson VS Don Hollywood, something like that. And it's a unification fight and it's free on spike. UFC is doing the right thing and has no corruption.Comment

Umm, cool. Have you watched any fights from this year? They are pretty damn good.Comment

Sorry I didn't get the sarcasm, I was actually trying to rearrange the words you wrote so they would be in actual sentence format so I could understand what the hell you were saying.Comment

see, look at this statement right here.
This person plain has no clue what he's talking about. And almost none of you do.
How can you fail to realize, that countries like Mexico and the Phillapines IDOLIZE boxing. No country in the world even considers MMA a popular sport yet.
Boxing is skyrocketing in popularity in CANADA. 70,000 people are gonna watch 2 supermiddleweights (an unpopular division i might add) go at it. MMA has never attracted more then 25,000... and that was for there biggest event ever.
Lol. I laugh when people say boxing is dead or anywhere near it.
And if you want MORE proof of the fact that "IF YOU MAKE IT, THEY WILL COME" consider the fact that EVERY major end year fight will be held in front of SOLD OUT arenas
Taylor-Pavlik tickets are flying, Mosley-Cotto is a sure sellout, Hatton-Mayweather is gonna have 15,000 Hatton fans alone make the flight from england and will sellout within a week. Calzaghe Kessler has already sold upwards of 25,000 seats. When does a Pacquiao fight not sellout? especially when he's facing Barrera.
Boxing is doing great at the current moment cause the best are fighting the best.
And another thing you can assure yourself of, is that Hatton-Mayweather, Cotto-Mosley, and Taylor-Pavlik will ALL gain Mainstream coverage for there fights in the US.Comment
