Mozza. Get off the fence.
Who does he need to beat?

The bar keeps rising because new fighters keep coming up. The boxing landscape keeps changing. No one was talking about Paul Williams in 2005, Cotto was still fighting bums 2 years ago, and Mosley was still recovering from his losses to Wright...
Mayweather has nothing left to prove after beating Hatton. He will have beat the top fighters from 130-154 in his career. No other fighter can say they not only won titles, but beat the top guy in 5 different divisions...
Mayweather is such a great fighter and has proven his dominance that he will get very little credit for beating Hatton even though Hatton is undefeated, the lineal champion at 140, and in the top 10 P4P. There really isn't a fight out there that can add significantly to his legacy aside from beating the winner of Taylor-Pavlik at 160...

Dios: Floyd doesn't need to do much of anything. he's likely the best ever (or cvlose to it) at 130 lbs. If you're in the race for best ever in a weight class that old, you're in great company. Top 5-10 all time IS TOUGH just because of what some guys got done in their time. I mean, Ray Robinson, San Langford, Harry Greb all the way up to modern greats like Ray Leonard...that's tough company to crack. I don't think it's a matter of 'next three fights' or anything like that. After Hatton he'll be like top 40-ish all-timefor most legitimate current/former champs faced in a career at 7 and likely to get to ten. SRR fought 16 so if PBF gets to ten, in about 1/4 the fights...that's awesome. It's just a matter of time really now that he stopped that garbage semi-retirement he was in from 2003-05, the mess that started all the drama around him. PBF will have far more than 3 more fights; probably more like 8-20. That will give a large picture of him. He's only 30 but that's close to the age when his will, along with his skill, will be tested as it has for all fighters.

$pam: GUARANTEE I'll give mad props if he dominates Hatton and regular props if he wins clean. Hatton is highly underrated by American fans who haven't gotten the news that the boxing sun really doesn't rise and set here anymore.

Mosley and Cotto add to Floyd's legacy just a little bit. Mayweather would be a heavy favorite against either of them...
