To be honest with you the pinoys are at a very huge advantege.They got prospects that are young and good and mexico only has one good fighter in that card and that is gonzalez.All the other mexican fighters are bums including de leon.i wish it wasnt true but it is.Its like having mares,cazarez,ulisses solis, martin castillo mijares and a few 2 so so fighters against old pinoy fighters.If you dont believe me check their records.i dont understand why d.l.h would do this to his own people but oh well what can you do.That is the reason why the pinoys are very confident.Heck i would be too with those opponents.I just mexico can pull it off.One thing is for sure we gonzalez will win.

As far as the "A" class fighters of the Philippines, its only Pac, Gerry P., and Nonito Donaire.

Bautista, Z Gorrez, Batawang, Gabi, Jaca, Amonsot, and even IBF champ Condes, i woudn't consider them "A" class fighters. If Boom beats PDL in a dominating way, then he would be an "A" class fighters. If Gorrez wins the eliminator and wins the IBF title, then he is also 1.

Also, the Mexicans, in terms of quantity, has a lot more boxers than Philippines. Which means htey have a lot of quality fighters that will stand out to be "A" class fighters. Even though Philippines 1st world champ was back before WW2, only now boxing is really hitting the mainstream. But Philippines will still be limited in terms of quantity of fighters cuz basketball is #1 sport in the islands. Every town has at least 2 or more basketball courts. You can probably find 1 boxing gym per province. Don't know how the boxing program in Mexico, but in Philippines its need a lot of improving.

Because they are consider "A" class fighters in Philippines it does not mean they are on internationally.
