I think Ponce got this by KO. Bautista has been down twice and looked pretty messed up each time. His chin I dun think will be able to stand up to Daniel's power. Rey hasn't KOed anyone devastatingly as of late either since he's stepped up in competition. I think his power is somewhat overrated since hitting the states and I dun think it'll be enough to get Ponce's respect. Ponce will prolly walk through what Rey gives out to land his bombs.Comment

rey bautista will kill ponce deleon. I dont care if your mexican or filipino, if you are a boxing fan then you will see how much better baustista. He is a better boxer and have power. Ponce is nothing but a slugger, he doesnt even know how to box. Boom2x by knockout.Comment

Bautista is very young but is dead game. The only thing that worries me about Bautista is that he may be too green. They got a couple of really young Pinoys in the world cup. AJ Banal is like 18 isnt he? They also have the oldest fighter in Penalosa. At least they all getting their time in the spotlight finally. Cross your fingers cousins cos I think Mexico is loosing this one.Comment

ok...But looks like you're kind of booked up there with points. How you gonna pay that 30k if you lose after I take your 12?

Bautista has the better technical skills and shoots the straight shots. However, his aggressive come-forward style combined with his sloppy defense and porcelain fragile chin, fits perfectly to de Leon's. Ponce may be so awkward and throws wide looping punches susceptible to counters, but he's got the 1-punch equalizer and a battle-tested iron chin. His championship fight experience is also a plus factor. The fighter that can land the 1st clean powershot and has the sturdier chin will win this fight.
I reckon de Leon, after taking some punishment, finally tags the young gunslinger in one of his reckless assaults in the middle rounds.
DPDL TKO7 Bautista.

From another perspective:
IF Boom Boom decides to box and counter, then quickly get out of harm's way. Keep his distance to cancel out de Leon's volume punching. Take a page from Penalosa's blueprint in boxing and defense, minus the passiveness. He might just eke out a close decision win.
It all boils down to which style Bautista decides on at fightnight imo.
Hey, what do I know, I'm just a boxing fan...lolComment
