I don't appreciate how he said it.

You're entitled to your opinion, Spontaneous...Sometimes it's hard to watch commentators give their point of view on a fighter you like, especially after a loss like that.
anyway, speaking of kellerman does anyone have a link to that music video that he did a long time ago? I've only heard about it, never seen it...

Ricardo "Finito" Lopez
Rafael Marquez
Israel Vazquez
Felix "Tito" Trinidad
Evander Holyfield
Michael Carbajal
Ricky Hatton
All these fighters have/had come-forward styles and were great crowd-pleasers but they actually had one thing Gatti lacks, and that's the skills. Club fighters are tough mofos with tons of heart, but they lack the skills to make it to the upper echelons of boxing (just like Gatti).

I appreciate and like Max Kellerman. He says it as he sees it and you know what, somewhere somebody isnt going to like it. I have found that speaking the absolute truth can be difficult for people to accept. They may want to believe this or to believe that but it becomes brutaly obvious after a certain point that their visions are wrong.
Max tells it as he sees it and for having "Never laced 'em up" (copyright pending) I can easily follow and see where his views of a fight are coming from.
Max Kellerman is good with me.................Rockin'

Look Gatti was a great fighter because of his heart and determination. Kellerman was simply just trying to get that point across. Gatti was nevr a flashy boxer or had fast hands but he had one thing that many other boxers will never have and thats the will to keep on going. Although he was not the best boxer and took many beatings I still STRONGLY believe that Gatti should be a hall of famer.

You're right, he's the worst sports broadcaster I've ever seen. Bad voice, negative-minded, rude, disrespectful of fighters, and no tact.
How did he ever get the job?

So is the original poster of this thread Gatti's personal ball washer or just an emotional wind bag who should probably switch to watching a more tame sport... golf perhaps.
