Everyone knew that the ref did a fair judgment. Meldrick didn't answer! Its was clear that he was OUT seriously what fight did u people watch? What is the ref suppose to do have sympathy for Taylor?

He didn't answer yet he was able to rise to his feet immediately. How many fights have you seen where a guy gets knocked down, appears to have his wits/senses about him and just nods or looks at the ref when asked if he can continue. It was a bogus stoppage. Steele should've wiped Taylor's gloves off and then let them fight for the next 2 seconds. Happens all the time.

I'd like to see that.I think JCC Jr. looks pretty damn good,I think with his height and vicious body attack he will be better than his father....who was a bit overrated.

BTW I will admit if Taylor had responded and continued yeah he would have won U.D but u must admit JCC was in good ***in condition and Meldrick was all f'd up during the fight. JCC landed power shots.

He didnt answer, plain and simple. If he would have answered the ref, he wouldnt have been stopped, and he would have won a decision, likely. Taylor didnt knock himself down, Chavez knocked him down. Chavez landed hard shots throughout, finally knocked Taylor down, and IT IS TAYLOR'S FAULT FOR NOT ANSWERING THE REFEREE. It wasnt a "bogus" stoppage, if a fighter doesnt answer the referee, what do you expect to happen? It doesnt matter how much time was on the clock. Plain and simple.

LoL, who ever mentioned Mayweather in any of this? I'm not disrepecting either, I'm just curious to know what made him so great. But the original topic was about his son. He has good potential, but with the amount of fights he's already had, I think he should step it up already. Otherwise he will take on a greater resemblance to his father with having many wins, all against cabbies, lacking better competition.
