chavez, jr. is a future world champion. in each fight he looks better and better and his body attack is vicious like his father. if he would have fought gatti he would knocked him out in 4 rounds and give him the worst beating of his career. i think chavez could handle any of the top welterweights right now. bring on paul williams.

Then whenever he stepped up to fight an elite fighter he got demolished by Oscar and Tszyu. Like I said, "overrated".
He beat Pernell Whitaker, Meldrick Taylor, Roger Mayweather and an old JCC had DLH moveing backwards. BTW its a doesn't matter whats on the timer the ref has to do his job even if its 10 secs to go. Meldrick Taylor would have been dead if there would have been another round I mean he was getting whoped. Meldrick was out and could not respond. He didn't even know he lost intill like 2mins

Ya, but that's 2 good opponents out of how many again? 107 wins? Your saying only 2 were credible? I never followed him or was into boxing during the time he was around, but I did catch his loss to Tszyu and they say he was out of his prime at that point. But I dun see how great someone can be if he had so many fights and hardly any were credible. Explain.

What the **** did you just say??!?

And who cares if he had DLH moving backwards, Oscar was consistantly connecting at will.

I dont think theres a rush to see him step up just yet, hes way too young.
