I'm not saying rugby isn't a tough sport. I'm not saying soccer is easy to play. I'm not saying soccer hooligans aren't dangerous guys. All I'm saying is that American football players are some of the biggest, toughest men in the world. And if you can't recognize that, then you deserve to be stuck watching soccer for the rest of your life. The fact that you consider "soccer hooligans" and rugby players tough says volumes about your overwhelming national pride and your underwhelming intelligence. Good bye.
hey moron i havnt mentioned soccer hooligans once..thats you...and i never mentioned NFL players not being big or tough...i guess reading isnt a big part of an americans life either....so the fact that u missed that...well i wont go on about it....now u best go have your afternoon nap..you know how grouchy you get in the evenings if you dnt have your nap...make sure mummy tucks u in nice n tight....

....this is why i only like New york....every other place ive been in the US..is full of morons like you....no sense of anything outside of america..and if there is..it has to be 'wrong'...moron

ciao!(that means bye...just incase it confused you)

If you narrow the description and use that qualifier, then I can live with that.

As 'the best player", the criteria that I use is "if you were to start a club, who is the first player you are picking?"....I don't think Beckham was ver that guy.

Did you see the hatton-castillo post-fight press conference? Rooney was sitting on the dais, and Arum introduced him as "the best footballer in the world". I wanted to punch Rooney in the face for NOT punching Arum in the face.

yea i saw that, rooney is cool and all, he has exceptional talent, but i don't think he has discipline, remember in the world cup when he got the red card for fouling C.Ronaldo? that was so unclassy to do in a World Cup.

And what is it about these British guys that they pack on the pounds so quickly? Is it the pints? Rooney was a tub.

Not that Ronaldo didn't look quite , um, robust the past few years.

lol@rooney....u say that..but its fair to say England despite not winning much recently..well for a while..have one of the top 10 international sides in the world..and he was always the first name on the sheet for 4/5 years...and he was pretty much a cert for man united..and only in his last season did he have dificultys getting into the side..and that was more to do with his contract..n moving to the US...the coach even admitted he amde a mistake..and i dnt think it was conincidence..that when beckham returned to the side..Madrid actually went on a run...and its generally percieved that Beckham had a huge impact on who won La Liga last year...he's an assist man..whereas ronaldo...van nistlroy/raul/ronaldhino..are more of goals men..of course they get there assists too..but beckham is more of a team player then an individual...hence he shines less during games...if that makes sense

You don't have anything close to enough intelligence to confuse me. I was speaking in general terms of your country, not singling you out. Sorry if you didn't understand that. I know it's tough for you to have to look at facts and have no comeback, but you should seriously try not to such about little ***** about this. Your little remarks about my "mummy" (which I assume is supposed to be my MOMMY?) and your lack of ANY punctuation should've already made you think twice about insulting my intelligence.

BTW, that C.R. is a guy who would be a big star here in the states. Just on his looks alone.
