He likely would have won the fight had he not fouled, but this is a historical thread, and in written history, Jones has an 'L'. Is there a huge difference between slipping up briefly and throwing an illegal punch and slipping up briefly and walking into a punch and losing by KO?

Golota was winning both times against Bowe, too; staying within the rules is part of the whole package.

Also, after the third Tarver fight, do you remember Roy being quoted saying he thought Tarver would have given him all kinds of trouble at any point in his career? I thought that was an interesting comment from a usually ****y competitor...
