Byrd is a slick guy who likes to boxe and make the other guy look bad. I'm not a nuthugger for Povy but I just can't see him getting knocked out especially by a guy who isnt even known to have scary punching power.
I know he's not going to want to slug, but his mobility is not great enough where he's going to be able to stay out exchanges with Povetkin. And that's a place he can't be IMO.

Well if he gets stuck in too many exchanges with Povy I could actually see Byrd getting KO'd again.. Thats just my opinion.

you gotta go with byrd on sheer experience alone. he's had a little less then 50 fights, 44 to be exact and povetkin has 13? every chris byrd fight i've watched hes been crapped on but i'm seeing him by decision.

              I think a Byrd decision.

Only other outcome is a late TKO for Povtkin.

But I'd say 65/35 Byrd takes a decision.

So my prediction: it's too early to make one...I would like to see the Povetkin-Donald fight before I jump to any conclusions. Anyone have it?..

Povetkin hit Donald with a lot of good flush shots, especially in the middle rounds. Donald was stunned a few times, but not seriously hurt.

This fights tells us two things: Donald still has a great chin, and although Povetkin is very talented and skillful heavyweight, he doesn't have Klitschko-like power. In the later rounds, Donald was clinching and holding, and appeared to be just trying to survive and not be KOed.
