It'd be like saying you picked Peter to decision Toney in their first fight and claiming you were right lol.
Nobody believes you're actually laughing when you type 'lol'.

This is a tough fight to call; Byrd's past his prime and argubly coming to the end of his career but might have a couple good performances left 'in the tank.' On the other hand, you have Povetkin; a decent hw prospect who has a fan friendly scrapping style but is being, what I consider, 'over hyped' by Sauerland promoters.

So my prediction: it's too early to make one...I would like to see the Povetkin-Donald fight before I jump to any conclusions. Anyone have it?..

I think the real question is who cares who wins. Byrd is a mediocre boxer at best, and doesn't deserve to have ever hold a title in his life.

I respect Povetkin a lot for taking these tough early fights. I will say he wins by decision, but Byrd is a brilliant fighter and I think this is going to be a real test of Povetkin's skills.

The real answer is that hw fans are excited about this young prospect Povetkin and are eager to see if he can beat a decent boxer like Chris Byrd. I'll be rooting for Povetkin because he has a fan friendly style and would like to see him go far in the division...

You really believe he is a decent fighter? I saw him fight live against Jameel Mccline, and he was floored, and looked very sloppy. I think he is an untalented fighter, and a paper champion. I think this fight is important, but not in Byrds outlook.

Yeah, I said he was a decent boxer, not a world beater or HOF'er. Byrd's a slick boxer who's fought good competition most of his career but never had many career defining wins. A dominant win over Chris Byrd by any young prospect is a step in the right direction, IMO...

you should see Byrd fight David Tua. He put on a boxing clinic and one every round of that fight. he was slippin and countering anything tua tried to hit him with.
