So Bob Arum stating to the boxing world after the Benn-Watson fight on NBC that Benn was "the most exciting boxer in the world" just went over everyones head? How about the big double-page article of Benn-Logan the year before in Ring Magazine titled 'The British Hagler-Hearns', or the highly exciting DeWitt and Barkley fights that were on ABC with entertaining ring entrances (and a lot of controversy with Benn hitting Barkley when he was down), or Benn being on the front cover of Ring Magazine six times in all and the main feature of one entire issue, or Benn being Showtime's main star until Tyson was released, or Gerald McClellan being brain damaged at the hands of Benn and it reaching every news bulletin in the States and the main news of ESPN? Don't be a ****.

If the Calzaghe who fought Reid, Thornberry, Starie, Jiminez, Mkrtchian, Salem, Ashira and Bika turned up, I can't see him getting by The Dark Destroyer!

If the Calzaghe who fought Sheika, Brewer and Mitchell turned up, he'd get him

Calzaghe could hold his own. He might not have beaten Benn but he'd have given him a good fight.

true but that was Benn, as soon as the bell goes its like he's let of a leash, that was his style he wanted to finish it quickly and it was exciting to watch. you can't fault his grit and enthusiasm though, especially against mcclellan.

And do you think faded Brewer Koed right before Joe by middleweight echols and Mitchell beaten by Ottke retired straight after Joe , and top 20 Shieka ,, are in the same class as Nigel Benn ,,, your dreaming , Benn would blow those guys away ,,, many of you guys see someone beat inferior B impressively and then automaticly see them doing the same to the better class A ,,, there is a thing in boxing called classes , nobody Joe has fought was in the class of prime Benn not even close , only Eubanks and he was gone when he fought Joe , I carnt see this lovefest thing with Joe he aint done **** apart from keep winning against very selected fighters that werent much anyway much like Ottke . Benn kos Joe inside 10 .
