i'm not sure, but if you have castillo and chico in the HOF, then you should probably have Hatton and Cotto(in another fight or two) too...

if PBF was to beat hatton or cotto i think it would be a much bigger win for him than his wins over castillo and chico....

and zab will never make the HOF.. he's 0-3-1 in his last 4 fights and is in the deepest division in boxing.... he should go down to 140...

i hope yoel judah is reading this. best advice he'll ever give to zab...

I agree with everything except #1. and as for #5.. shane isnt the prime guy he was... but doesnt change fact he can still beat top fighters today.

point taken, moes has a good chin , but i see it as a real possibility that cintron could KO him at 36 years old...

his chin wasn't so good against Forrest and Cintron definitely has more pop, it could happen because Mosley just doesn't have the defense to avoid the whole fight.

Being The UNDISPUTED CHAMP in 5 Divisions makes your GREAT.. owning a fragmented belt in 5 divisions makes you merely OK.. especially if 1 of thos ebelts was against an in hindsight ..SHOT fighter WHo was AWARDED the belt out of the ring.... the next one was against a guy who had no business being there.. and had only ever beat.. previously mentioned shot fighter.. and a mental case... And would have lost his next fight regardelss of who it was against.. And finally against a guy who was far past his best..

Its not just the belts.. But WHO you beat to get the belts.. The belts are NOT really worth anything these days..

did he clean UP 5 divisions?? No Sir he didn't... top 20 of time ??? sure.. top 10 of all time ??? Nope...

No doubt. This thread either needs to restate its mission or be deleted because every "indisputable" argument he's posted has been disputed just fine so far. These are opinions being posted and not facts at all. Mayweather is definitely an all time great, Wladimir would not survive in other eras just to negate two of the more incorrect points.

I clearly state in the first post that this my opinion:

"I'm going to post 10 items that I hear disputed all the time. These items in IMO should not even be disputed but for some reason a certain segment always seem to turn a blind eye to them with their bias."


If you think that floyd is an all time great because of winning titles in 5 divisions, thats fine... however, you cannot argue the point that his resume is not yet on par with the other all time greats... and that us why i do not consider him one...

Who did Tommy Hearns beat that makes you consider him more of a great than Floyd Mayweather? And again who has been the undisputed champ in 5 divisions(I know you weren't the one who said that). Fact is not many boxers in history of boxing have become 5 time champions in 5 different weight classes and none have done it as fast or younger than him. Now I got respect for SRL, Hearns, and Hagler but what makes their careers so much better?

I know Oscar only has 3 legit losses, but when you have that many close fights, you lose some. Mayweather has only had one close fight and it's because he had ONE ****ING ARM. Mayweather > De La Hoya. That's a fact of life more so than any of these other points you're making in this thread.
