10 truths boxing fans should accept!

I'm going to post 10 items that I hear disputed all the time. These items in IMO should not even be disputed but for some reason a certain segment always seem to turn a blind eye to them with their bias.

I will post these items one at a time to allow for discussion, replies and my rebuttal. And to drag it out, haha.

    1. Wlad, Lewis and VK could have competed with heavyweights of any era and held their own.

These giants are also athletes, gifted with hand speed, reflexes, strength and crushing power. They would have made for difficult fights for Holmes, Ali, Louis and Patterson. Not saying they would have won, but it would not have been a cake walk to beat them. In addition to their size, they have unique styles that maximizes their natural advantages, using their height, reach and jab.

Competitive? Absolutely. Present-day Wlad vs. prime Evander would be a great fight, IMO. Ditto Vitali of course...

                2. Margarito is one of the top guys at 147

People like to diss him, but this guy is for real, he's no bum. He lost a close fight to PWill and had he started a little sooner may have scored a draw or the win. He’s good for boxing too, he’s recently fought three relatively, young undefeated fighters(P Will, Cintron, Hercules) and two guys with just one loss. Floyd hasn’t fought another young, undefeated fighter in 7 years. So why hate on a guy, who’s fighting real competition, guys that can provide real challenges? 147 is boxing’s deepest division at the moment and Margo is in the top 10, if not top 5. He could have avoided PWill for a much bigger fight with Cotto, when was the last time a champion did that? So you gotta give him his props.

Props given. I'd love to see any fight involving Margo and the top welters. Margo-Cintron II, Margo-Cotto, Margo-PWill II, Margo-PBF (lol), et al. Tough, strong, fun fighter.

I don't get that either. I like Margarito alot. He's a tough, mean, couragous aswell as highly skillfull fighter. You never catch Tony out of shape or not giving 100%. The guys a great professional and a great fighter. I'd say he is defiantely up there at the top.
