Ugh, people. Floyd is retired and Oscar is back at welterweight.

Gutierrez was a young, rugged power puncher who could match Clottey's activity. Clottey struggled with that kid...I think he'd struggle against the sharper, harder puncher in Cintron too.

If anything, that loss to Margarito was a good thing for Cintron. He looks much better now than he did then.
Well, Cintron has really only stepped up to the best once against Margarito and he was completely outclassed. That is the type of beating that usually ruins young fighters. He's come back from that fight, but he has yet to step up to even a top 10 welterweight since then. I would like to see him beat somebody before ranking him top 5. Having a belt isn't enough.

I think Clottey-Cintron is a toss up. Clottey has done more in his career, though. He fought Baldomir and should have won that fight. He should have also beat Margarito. He has come closer to beating top welterweights than Cintron has...

            1) Mayweather
            2) Cotto
            3) Mosley
            4) Williams
            5) Clottey

I think somebody already posted this exact same order. SiN was it?

After that, it's pretty much the guys with pretty bad losses over the last few years.

I think Clottey has the tools to win against anyone in the welterweight division.

                  Mayweather
                  Mosley
                  Cotto
                  Williams
                  Margarito

Cintron only beat Matthysse. He's another guy, like Clottey, who has plenty of upside, but still needs to prove it against a top guy. Cintron was a completley different fighter when he fought Margarito the first time. He just needs to prove it in a rematch before I put him in the top 5.

Mosley has past success at Welterweight, and since he looked so good against Collazo, I put him at number two. Cotto beat the former undisputed champion. Eventhough he was coming off of losses, he still looked like the same Judah. As of right now, I dont believe the rumors of Oscar moving back down to Welterweight.

                      You listed Cotto twice lol.

                      1. Mayweather (unless you consider him retired)
                      2. Mosley
                      3. Cotto
                      4. Paul Williams
                      5. Margarito(even though Clottey was beating his ass until the hand)
