If Zab gave Floyd fits, I'm sure PeeWee would too. But there's no way either one would dominate the other. They are both too good for that.

As DLT points out, Floyd doesn't get as much credit as he should, considering he's only a jr welter at most. However, you're still defined by what you do, not what you're capable of, so Whitaker it is for me.
meaning what? What did he do so much better then Floyd? Also, the Zab stuff is overrated. He won 3 of the first 4 rounds and didnt come close to winning anymore the rest of the fight. Also, Zab had power that Floyd had to straight up respect so that is a major differnce in how Floyd would approach those fights. He wouldnt show Sweet Pea half the respect he showed Zab. Sweet Pea is much better but he cant Knock him out like Zab could do if he caught you with a blind punch.

However, I have no problem with you picking Sweet Pea as he could very well win but neither guy would dominate and I would go with Floyd

I said neither fighter would be able to hit each other, but Whitaker would be more active and thus win every round. I just presented evidence of this fact, but you keep denying it.

I am a big Floyd fan but Im also a big Sweet Pea fan. I love guys who have mastered the sweet science. I knew Floyd was going to be great from day 1 and everyone was dissing me while they were on Sugar Shane, RJ, and Tito. I also was the 1st one on here to boost up Paulie and said that he reminded me of a white Sweet Pea. That was like 3 years ago when everyone called him a bum who just fought club fighters. Again, both Sweet Pea & Floyd are great. I dont mind you picking Sweet Pea at all but to see he is way above Floyd or is clearly better at everything is crazy

I dont think thats evidence at all and I dont think you can prove Sweet Pea is more active. Floyd has a way better KO ratio, e****ally at the lower weights and he let his hands go alot. Again, Im still not upset with you saying that but the fact that you guys try to say that Sweet Pea is better at everything or they are both the same but Sweet Pea can do everything better is crazy. What is your evedince on that? One thing you cant deny is that Sweet Pea is a one way fighter. He fights the same way every fight no matter what while Floyd switches styles for each fight and during a fight. To me that gives him a advantage

Im not ******, its not like Im saying he's a hall of famer but he certainly did remind me of him back then the way he was circling, making guys miss, making them look ******, but didnt have the power to knock them out. I thought he was awesome but everyone thought he was a bum. I love watching a great technician. Most people hate it but theres nothing I love more then a little guy beating a dude who's way more stronger and more powerful then them by mastering the art

Yeah, I meant for the first 4 rounds against Zab.
There's no particular thing either one did much better than the other, so I think it would be more a style-makes-fight kind of thing, where maybe the smartest person would eek out a decision.

I don't think Floyd could neglect Sweet Pea's punches either. He wasn't that bad of a puncher when he commited.
But I find it unlikely that it would end by KO either way...

Being a champion at heart, I mean that Whitaker proved to himself that he was pure champion material by competing with the absolute best around, which is something I'm not ready to say about Floyd just yet.
You make solid arguments, and it is foolish to think that the winner is a given, so I won't try to turn you over

It would be a fight that I would want to be a throwback to the 15 rounders. I could watch that all day but I know alot of guys on here would hate it and say they both suck. Its funny how everyone seems to hype Sweet Pea now but alot of these same people would rip him if he was fighting nowdays and say that he was just a runner. If he beat Hatton like that then this board would go crazy and call him a punk who just ran the whole fight. Thats too funny

                    Lol, I guess some would!
When I watch Pea I always find myself laughing. It's just pure **** to watch and study!

Floyd is a different kind of beast, almost like he's saying "even when I allow you to hit me, you miss! punk"
Action fans will never understand the finer points of boxing, so it is futile to argue with many of them...
Unless you have tried to fight someone with a great defence, or tried to avoid all shots yourself, you won't have any idea what you are talking about.
I appreciate defensive capabilities more than offence, because it's easily the hardest thing to get good at.

Now I'm probably going to get peppered with **** like I shouldn't call myself a Tyson-fan and stuff
