thats insane. Sweet pea is a beast but Floyd is the perfect guy to beat him. He has the speed to match him, his D is on par with him, he can throw combos just like him, and he's just as smart in the ring. On top of that Floyd has more power. The difference between the 2 is that Sweet Pea only fought one way every single fight. Floyd can change from fight to fight and I dont think Sweet Pea's style is good against a fighter like Floyd. I could see Floyd walking him down and beating him in a great techinqal matchup that only idiots would be bored of. This would be the sweet science at its best

no way you can say that. Sweet Pea is nearly all defense. He doesnt have the offensive arsenal of Mayweather and there styles are completely different as much as people want to compere them. Sweet Pea is more elusive because its his style to be elusive. Floyd is elusive at times and other times he lets you hit him so he can block it and drain your energy. He could do the same to Sweet Pea but Sweet Pea wouldnt be that elusive to Floyd. He is one of the few fighters who could land on him.

Max Kellerman is the biggest Sweet Pea fan there is and he even said that if theres one guy who wouldve gave him hell then its Floyd. He has the style to give him fits. No one can deny that

How do you figure that? Its not like Floyd is never active. Its like people only remember Floyd's last 2 fights. He's been active way more in his career then he's been non active. In the 6 fights before his last 2 he was very active. Against Sweet Pea he would be the aggresor so theres no way Sweet Pea would throw more. You also have to remember that Sweet Pea has nothing for Floyd to fear Offensivley so Floyd wouldnt be reluctant to let his hands go. He knows that Pernell cant hurt him and it would be at a lower weight class. Floyd threw alot more against those kind of guys
