Since Tsyzu, Why Has Hatton Only Fought the Worst Titleholders?

It's become a clear trend for Hatton to face the worst titleholder available whenever he fights a champion. He first chose to fight Maussa, a fighter so terrible that Maussa was beaten by a total journeyman in his very next fight.

Hatton then went up to 147 and chose the weakest beltholder there, Collazo. There were better beltholders like Margarito, Cintron, and Baldomir but Hatton chose the weakest of the 4. This was a good choice in hindsight as Hatton would have probably been knocked out cold by the other three seeing as Hatton couldn't handle light-hitting Collazo's power.

When Collazo sent Hatton back to 140, Hatton once again chose the weakest beltholder in Urango. Urango got a gift decision to win the title in an outright robbery of Ben Rabah and Urango had never beaten a name opponent in his 18-fight career.

Hatton does hand picks!!! But in all fairness everyone hand picks their opponents now so this isnt so bad!!! Margarito said he will fight anyone anywhere anytime when he was talking bout floyd yet he didnt want to move up to 154 when winky was calling!!!

hatton called tszyu out in 2002 when kostya was in hes prime . hatton said he has the perfect gameplan to beat tszyu its not hes problem he had to wait 2 years to be installed as the number 1 challenger.

What contract? Mayweather's golf caddy didn't come out with any specifics for this contract. How much was it for? What was Hatton's guarantee? Where was the fight to be held? What weight? I would assume 147 but without seeing the contract I could only guess. In legal terms you need something called a "contract" in order to sign a contact.

Whenever Hatton calls out Mayweather his fans get all pissy "ooh why can Hatton call out Mayweather?". It doesn't take any balls to call out a fighter after you've just laid someone out on the canvas.
