Hatton has handpicked every fighter he has ever faced. His career was moved so carefully it's ridiculous. He waited nearly 10 years into his career until the champion, Tszyu, was past his prime to fight him. He then goes on to face the weakest titleholders while avoiding the best fighters at 140 (Witter) and 147 (Mayweather)...Comment

Like he calls out Mayweather and ducks him when it's time to negotiate? That sounds like typical Hatton...Comment

What contract? Mayweather's golf caddy didn't come out with any specifics for this contract. How much was it for? What was Hatton's guarantee? Where was the fight to be held? What weight? I would assume 147 but without seeing the contract I could only guess. In legal terms you need something called a "contract" in order to sign a contact.
Whenever Hatton calls out Mayweather his fans get all pissy "ooh why can Hatton call out Mayweather?". It doesn't take any balls to call out a fighter after you've just laid someone out on the canvas.Mayweather's advisor told Hatton to sign the contract. Hatton didn't even have the balls to call out Mayweather on HBO...Comment
