Probably the last time ill ever see it.
Maybe they each knew the fight couldn't be made?

You'll have to excuse my ignorance.

If a Tszyu vs Mayweather fight was difficult.

But a Hatton vs Tszyu fight WASNT difficult.

Why would a Hatton vs Mayweather fight have been such a simple case to make?

I think Tszyu knew it more than Mayweather. Not to mention, the toughest thing about making a Tszyu fight was his surgeries.

Zoo also only fought 3 rounds in the past 2 years when he faced or should I say was mauled by Hatton......Hatton was holding and hugging most of the fight it was ugly.

Hatton was offered a fight once during his showtime era, and then again after he was with HBO and was no longer with Warren. One is a bit more excusable than the other.

So hang on, one offer was difficult to make just like Mayweather vs Tszyu, the other was a lot easier because Rick was with HBO and that was the one that didn't get past the first negotiating hurdle (the $13 million request)?

Not just 13million, but the fact that they said they would be defending against Oktay Urkal.

There was nothing set in stone at that point. And it ended up not happening anyway. The fight wasn't made because Rick's pay demands were not addressed and the whole thing was rejected without negotiation.

You talking about Urkal? Or Mayweather?

Well obviously nothing was set in stone about Urkal because it never happened. And between Hatton and Mayweather the stumbling block was the pay, which is a matter for negotiation, not for dismissal and later revelation.

Having said that I think Hatton had his feeling of invincibility jarred by the tough fight with Collazo, and I think he needed a bit of time and a couple of fights to get back into the game. A good performance on Saturday will put him back up there into contention.
