Being top p4p is always under scrutiny anyway and can chop and change. So boxers always have to prove themselves and justify there right to be ranked the way they are. The boy done good in beating DLH, but there is always another challenge around the corner if you want it.
If Hatton or Cotto could beat PBF, PBF wouldnt deserve that No1 p4p ranking, even though he has 5 divisions on his resume. IF he couldnt beat Hatton or Cotto it would just reveal that he was able to win in 5 divisions without neccesarily having being able to beat a fighter like Hatton etc.

So far i can think of two, Kosta and Castillo.

And he hasnt even fought castillo yet.

If you ask certain questions, you get certain answers.
I think this is a better question:

Who had a better career after 38 fights, Hatton or Mayweather? Tough one...

You may not start threads, but you're quick to jump in them just like this one...

Nah...you're making excuses about why Floyd hasnt fought any high top P4P fighters. He doesnt need you to do that for him, remember?

I 'jump' into threads where you are being biased and coming up with ridiculously one-sided arguments to offer the other side. You START those arguments, you dont offer another side to the argument because they are YOUR arguments. You initiate them, you are biased.

No mate. You were trying to attack him because you thought that he was being snarky about your beloved Floyd whereas the opposite was actually true. At least man up and admit it, instead of this feeble attempt to backtrack.

The point being that your point was utterly redundant.

Yes Mayweather has fought more people who have entered the top 10 over the course of their career. Yes the strength in depth of his resume is better than Hatton's. Yes he has achieved more titles at more weights in his career. Yes he is more deserving of his place at the top of the P4P rankings than Hatton would be if he were placed there. HOWEVER, as virtually NOBODY places Hatton at the top of the P4P list...what is your point? Furthermore, what is the point in making your point?

I could sit here and say: "Tyson had pretty fast handspeed and punched pretty hard". But as virtually nobody is disagreeing with that statement...what is the point in me doing that?

I dont imagine that anyone worth listening to here would say that Hatton ought to be higher up the rankings than PBF. The point of this thread is that Hatton's biggest win is better than PBF's biggest win. Try debating or agreeing to that, rather than making irrelevant points that nobody is arguing about.

          1) To me mayweather beating de la hoya was more impressive than Hatton's win over Kosta

-Mayweather weighed 148, and gave up nearly a stone to DLH on fight night
          -It was mayweather's 1st fight at 154
-It was mayweather's 5th weight class
-De La Hoya is a better fighter than Kosta Tszyu imo
-Mayweather used oscar gloves and fought in a smaller ring in oscar's backyard on cinco de mayo

          2) My point is stated above clearly so that even you can see it

"If you ask a certain question, you will get a certain answer",

          you do the math.

Why would I argue both sides?

I think something else that has to be asked is,...when did tszyu EVER plan on facing floyd mayweather? He wouldnt even mention mayweather even when mayweather moved up, the fight could have been made immediately after tszyu felt he was in shape. Tszyu never had any intention of facing mayweather.

Yes mate. Thats why you deleted the part where you e-shouted at the guy for agreeing with you.

I KNOW that you made a mistake, the mistake was that you chided someone because you werent reading properly. I'd be pleased to know that you could admit to that.

At least you admit that you make nothing but excuses for Hatton and Calzaghe. Like I said, I have no need to make excuses. When Mayweather was offered a big fight, he took it. When Hatton and Calzaghe are offered big fights, they're out looking for the Urangos and Manfredos of the world...
