floyd will get 15 million guaranteed and 50% of the ppv revenue. shane will probably end up with 8 million guaranteed but he will not get a percentage of the ppv.

this is the biggest fight in boxing right now, and will do easily over 1 million buys.

It's unfortunate, but true. Floyd is in a commanding position as of now, and that is undeniable. So many people talk about how he's this and that, but the fact of the matter is as of now, he's is the undisputed p4p champion and he is the one who sets the bar. Until someone beats him, if that happens, this is how it will be.

I honestly do not think it's about money, more so than control. Floyd is in a top drawing position right now and has room to flex his muscles some, and I think just as did Oscar, he is doing so and enjoying it.

Now, I guess I just wonder why so many feel Floyd is all bad, when in essence, DLH did the EXACT SAME THING. He set the standards and negotiations and Floyd accepted. He chose the gloves, ring size, location etc. Why is it Floyd's wrong and running? NO. Those who claim to want to fight so bad would lay down their personal view to fight him, as he did with DLH. He felt he was the best coming in, but accomodated DLH. That is how it goes when you are on top.

Please note that Oscar fought for the money also. Did Oscar speak Forrest's name after Vernon dusted Shane? Did Oscar ever respond to the MANY times that Winky called him out?

This is a business AND a sport.

Floyd has fought Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Diego Corrales, ChopChop Corley, Jesus Chavez, Jose Luis Castillo - TWICE, Arturo Gatti, Justin Jukko, Famoso Hernandez, Sharmba Mitchell, Zab Judah , and Oscar Delahoya. I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT COMPETITION.

mayweather is not a cash cow. he made a lot of money in that fight becasue it was against oscar. if its mayweather fighting other than oscar i dont think PPV buys would even reach 500k
