  • Mayweather: "Mosley Can't Talk Money With Me"

It appears that undefeated WBC junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is going to stay retired until the right amount of money comes along to change his mind. There is a lot of momentum in the boxing public for a showdown between Mayweather, 30, and former three-time division champ "Sugar" Shane Mosley. [details]

Floyd fighting a sparring partner of the guy he beat.

Mayweather thinks he's second only to Oscar.

You take his two fights with Vargas, you take his two fights with Oscar and you take his two fights with Winky Wright and his two fights with Vernon Forrest and he still didn't make more than what I made in one night. I still got money coming in from the Oscar fight.

Like I said before, Mayweather is a cash cow. Whatever I touch don't turn into gold, it turns into platinum. It's money Mayweather. If the price is right, we can make it happen.

What do I look like? A guy like Mosley is on 24/7 being a sparring partner. C'mon man, I can't fight a sparring partner. He's a sparring partner. How are you gonna go out there and spar for free and then tell me you want to make the same type of money I'm making. And you haven't reigned undefeated; I've done it for a decade.
      God damn, talk about !

Incredibly hard to like Mayweather. He is such an arrogant POS.

I'd like to see mosley mayweather, cotto mayweather, and hatton mayweather. of course floyd is too worried about his precious record.

that's why he'll never ever go down as one of the all time greats. great boxers are also concerned about their legacy, not money only.

He is a first class Prick. If he was late into his 30's or had 60 fights on his record with a hard career then I could agree ith him just wanting the big money fights, but he is still a young boxer, in his prime. He is scared ****less to face Hatton, SSM or Cotto, and if any of these fights ever happened he would run around the ring like the little ***** that he is.

even more incredibly hard to hate mayweather but give him his due isn't it? but, for a guy who hates mayweather, you sure do want him to fight a lot. you think these guys can beat mayweather, but you're thinking with your heart and not your knowledge of the sport. those fighters you listed, they don't even believe they can defeat mayweather, because if they did, they would not have turned him down in the past would they? talk about titles.

hatton-3 time turner downer of a fight with mayweather jr. one of those times, he priced himself out. what a champion

mosley-2 division champ of turning down a fight with pbf. one at 135, and another at 147, only to wait until mayweather jr announces his retirement to call him out. hell of a champ there. oh, by the way shano, how's that tooth?

cotto-watches the floyd/gatti fight with hatton, doesn't call mayweather out afterwards. he knew what he had coming to him and still does. and his promoter, bob aruhhhhh... aruhhh....arum wanted to protect his record, and didn't want cotto to have any part of mayweather. another truly great ducking champion.

these are great champions with an immense amount of ducking skill.

talk about floyd being scared, these guys never wanted any part of mayweather, no matter what they get you to believe folks. they cannot beat floyd mayweather, and they know it.

As bad as he is at playing the bad guy role, people sure do love to hate him.
