Nobody is answering my question on post #123 of page 13, especialy DIOS DOMINICANO, who quicley will post to make personal attacks but when i would like an intelligent answer on boxing he is nowhere to be found

ppl have to learn to seprate the attackers from the actual intelligent fans

To all the PBF haters:

1) PBF is (currently) retired. This meakes it impossible for him to 'duck' anyone, as he isn't (or shouldn't be) looking for fights.

2) Cotto still has stuff to do, and some growing to do as a fighter, before he demands a fight with PBF.

3) Speaking of demands, while cotto has gone on the record as saying he would love to fight PBF, he has also said that he will leave it up to his promoter to decide whom he'll be fighting next. And arum seems more interested in margarito and mosely right now (you know, the two fighters that WON'T be demanding over 15 MILLION for a fight). In the end, it's about the money.


Now to all the PBF fans:

1) Many of you claim that PBF is only staying retired untill a lucritive opportunity arrives. Who, prey tell, is there that would get PBF such a sum? PBF doesn't have the entertainment value, nor the casual fanbase, to fight just anyone and make 10+ million. Cotto and Margarito are out due to them being promoted by bob arum. DLH and Mosely are out, because DLH knows good business and PBF would probably want too much money. Who the hell then, is there for PBF to fight?

If I was Floyd I would also be scared of a slow wide looping puncher who won a vacant belt at 147 and not to mention Floyd just did something he couldn't do and that is win at 154. SO **** OFF AND GOOD DAY.

ODLH-Cotto does WAY less than ODLH-PBF

I'm about 99% sure it will make more money...two great fighters, big name like DLH, Cotto which will be huge by then, and the whole Mexico vs. Puerto Rico thing behind it.

It would be a BLOCKBUSTER fight.

I very much doubt it.


Please remember that PBF-Oscar did FIFTY PERCENT more than Oscar-Tito. Cotto is nowhere near as popular or charismatic as Tito, and people recognize that Oscar is on the downside now. Certainly as compared to the ODLH/Tito era.

Alot of what sold the may 5th fight was Floyd's charisma, arrogance and braggadocio. Miguel isn't that guy. Can you envision Delahoya-Cotto 24/7? It would be worse than 'John from Cincinnatti'.

I heard that the Cotto-Judah fight did 260K. Can anyone confirm?
