  • margarito is just another mexican fighter who fights bums and prospects for most of his career and already has 4 losses and soon to be 5 when paul williams finally exposes him for good margarito never deserved a shot with floyd and after july 14 will beforgotten.

Roger's main gameplan if Floyd is having trouble on the ropes is, 'Tie your man up'...With that element of their plan thrown to the wayside, what will he do to make up for it?

      2. If he were to fight Miguel, he would be going up against one of the best fighters to ever cut off the ring. Definately the best pressure fighter he's ever faced, and the best at cutting off the ring, would be Miguel Cotto. The fact that he's an expert at cutting off the ring, and un-clinchable, makes him a not-so-promising opponent. Floyd knows all this.

      3. Miguel is at his peak. This is the best version of him we've ever seen...

(Lowers gloves)Take ya best shot, flame away Mayweather huggers.
mayweather wont fight a real challenge.

                  • If you see it in as a neutral or miguel cotto's fan you want the fight. if you see it as a floyd fan you want the fight too. if you see it as floyd mayweather and thik about it, its not very convinient. not so much because of miguel himself but his record. looks TERRIBLE compared to Hattons or Hoya's. he cant shut up anyone by winning vs cotto. haters will immediatly set him up another match (no rest for floyd, he's always fighting greats) saying cotto was overrated and had trouble with 36 year old mosley and shot zab judah... come on, you know thats whats going to happen. rise and repeat until mayweather loses which is really the only reason people want to see him fight. he will prolly not retire undefeated but he still has a nose for good business and cotto isn't good business. Margarito is more worthy of Cotto's record than cotto. records mean **** in most cases and floyd is clearly an exception. when you see him fight you get that notion noone could stop him that fight. when you see cotto you think, man cotto is lucky boxing has only 12 rounds or "i wonder what would happen if zab wasnt punched in the nuts". its not like cotto is a machine as people try very hard to make believe. he's only an inch i repeat an inch taller than hatton and also naturally a junior ww (although a bit bigger than most). he's not a very big ww (that would be margarito and williams) so dispite being undefeated there nothing else special about cotto.

LOOK WHAT CARLOS Q DID TO PW AND WHAT COTTO DID TO CARLOS Q. SIZE AINT ****. NOBODY TALKED ABOUT SIZE WHEN BIG MIKE WAS ON HIS GAME. HE FOUGHT TALLER FIGHTERS WITH NO PROBLEM, AND NOBODY SAID HE AINT A TALL "HEAVYWEIGHT" THERE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT COTTO, "EVERYONE SEEMS TO PICK HIM TO LOSE IN EVERY FIGHT AND HE STEPS UP TO THE TASK AT HAND AN GETS THE JOB DONE!!!" AND WITH GOOD FASHION. HE ALWAYS GIVES BOXING FANS A FIGHT TO TALK ABOUT ON MONDAY UNLIKE OTHER WW OF THIS DAY AND AGE
