Floyd is content with winning. I doubt that will happen. At 140 I think he would have beaten any fighter in that division. Floyd wants to accomplish things at higher divisions. Some fighters choose to stay at one weightclass and dominate while others like to go higher and higher.

As Floyd moves up in weight, his opponents keeps getting bigger and taller.
When you're fighting a taller, stronger man, you don't want to use the jab so much, as you will give the bigger man chances to counter that jab with straight rights.
The more jabs you throw, the easier it is to set up counters for it.
Don't forget that it's some of the best boxers in the world you watch, so chances are that they know what they're doing.
Instead of bashing away all the time, criticising everything about everyone, why not stop a second to think about the reasons why a fighter chooses to do as he's doing?Comment

Again guys, you just remember the last 2 fights. Before them Floyd just had 6 straight fights where he threw alot of punches. In those 6 fights he had 4 KO's, all were early, and the other 2 fights he punished Zab & Chop. He dropped Chop twice and may have stopped Zab if he didnt go low on him.
You cant talk about Floyd's output without him having another fight at 147. For all we know he was just being safe against Baldy so he wouldnt ruin a Oscar fight and he was cautious against Oscar because he didnt know what to expect at 154. Both those guys had him by 20 pounds. You have no ideal that if Floyd has another fight at 147 that he wont let his hands go. He just did it 6 fights in a row and I think he would do it again against Margarito, Mosley, Hatton, or Cotto. Stop acting like Floyd has fought this way 20 fights in a row because its not true at all. Infact, in alot of those fights he stalked and walked his opponent downComment

Floyd is not interested in providing excitement. He's interested in giving boxing lessons. Its obvious. I still enjoy watching him. Floyd could have thrown more in the Oscar fight but if he unloaded he would have played into a situation that favored Oscar.Comment

I don't think Floyd fits the job of being known as a ****ing entertainer. He does what he needs to do to win his fights, I doubt he could give a **** about some haters such as Elitesoldier who all they want to see is a bunch of retired boxer's with parkinsons from 'slugging it out.'Comment

But that's exactly why he is doing what he is doing and the reason why everyone hates him these days--because it's devoid of all RISK. That's all we fans want. Take some real risk once in awhile in the ring if you want to keep your fans. Instead of taking zero risks and spewing lies of prophecies destruction in the ring ("I'm gonna massacre De La Hoya"). Why not know your limitations and use your talents to the fullest in a lower weight class rather than trying to nickel and dime the fans with bull****.
Mayweather won the fight the only way he could win it, and he realised that in the first round.
It isn't risk-free to fight a bigger, stronger man no matter how good you are.
It is unfair towards a fighter to say something like "Ali wouldn't beat Tyson in a brawl. *****!"
You have to fight the fight the way you have a chance of winning it. Can't afford to be ****** in this game...Comment
