That's one thing I don't agree with. Ndou didn't rabbit punch alot. Eddie Cotton was wrong for taking a point without any warning.

Look mayne. I respect floyd and malinaggi. seriously tho. I would rather watch paulie fight than floydif you take out who they are fighting in a particular fight. I feel that sad since paulie doesnt even have the power floyd has. listen the guy above told you he threw 800 punches. thats nothing to sneeze at. So please take off your headphones that got "Laffin straight to the bank with it" playing on em and take floyd's rectum out of your mouth when you post next time. how about floyd fans big up their favorite fighter by talking about his accomplishments instead of putting down another boxer that has nothing to do with floyd. ok?

Im the expert on this since most on here know that Floyd is my favorite and Paulie is maybe my 2nd favorite fighter and the guy Ive been boosting up when everyone hated on him until a few fights ago.

Merchant is a straight ass but he is fairly consistent. He ripped Floyd in the last 2 fights but he's given Floyd alot of credit in the past. Paulie didnt run tonight. He boxed well. His punches can be debated though. People say he threw 800 punches but 90% of them were jabs so its not like he was doing a whole lot more then Floyd except for flicking out a jab to keep the guy at bay. Floyd has a great jab but he doesnt throw it that much. I guess if Floyd kept the jab poppin in his last couple of fights then Merchant wouldve been ok with it.

He's still a idiot though because he forgets people's other fights. He always lives for the current fight. I dont think its fair of him to rip Floyd when in his previous fights Merchant thought he was fairly exciting. You act like guys cant have a off day or a day where they choose to fight differently. Floyd has 1 or 2 fights like that and he acts like Floyd does it in every fight. It also makes me mad because he rips Floyd instead of ripping guys like Oscar. It takes 2 guys to make a boring fight. Oscar was coming forward but he wasnt doing anything to make the fight. Look at Cotto or even when Floyd fought Zab. Floyd walked Zab down and landed a bunch of punches. Oscar couldnt do that to Floyd. People talk about what Floyd said but what about what Oscar & Roach said? They said they were going to make it a dog fight and Oscar would ruff him up. He didnt do ****. Trust me, I think Floyd would kill Cotto & Margarito but the way they fight would make it a fight. Thats why you have to rip Oscar also. I wont rip Baldy because he doesnt have the speed to change that

I give credit to Paulie. He clearly won each round. He was more active than Floyd was against Oscar. But let's not forget that Ndou is not in DLH's league.

Oh yeah and Dirrell and Floyd don't fight the same so shut da **** up. Without his height and reach Dirrell wouldn't have won. Dirrell stayed on the outside for the whole fight, and won because of his reach and height.

I don't give a **** though cuz Malignaggi would never be as good as Floyd.

Unlike Paulie, Floyd has abandoned the jab for years and now just pot-shots with one and two punch combinations (mostly straight right hands) and then just runs away. There is a difference between keeping your distance in boxing as opposed to blatantly avoiding engaging your opponent in order to flee after a quick one or two punch flurry to the other side of the ring like Mayweather does. Paulie on the other hand stays closer to his opponent and is mostly just arms distance away while moving on his back foot and CONSTANTLY entertaining with the jab. I dunno, to me I'd actually rather watch a guy like Paulie fight rather than watch Mayweather's obvious safety-first style all night long. Paulie BOXES and sticks his jab in his opponents face all night long old school style.

I like Mayweather, but your right he doesn't use that jab too much.

At this point Paulie may be exciting but I wouldn't put him in the ring with Floyd. Floyd's opposition May 5th was much better than Paulie's tonight.

I like Mayweather too, but he should've never went above Junior Welter. Above this weight he has become a more technically skilled version of Roid Jones but with less power and against bigger guys than himself. This makes him look bad at the higher weights where at the lower weights he would be raking guys like he did to Gatti. If he is going to stay above 140 however, Floyd should at least mix a jab into his quick, leaping power shot attacks like Paulie does. At least this would give the appearance of a more entertaining fight rather than have lapses of time in the ring with no action going on which equates to boredom.
