Pauli fought a great fight tonight. But there is truth to your post. White/lighter fighters "look more impressive" to the mainstream media and the general public. A couple months ago people were calling Floyd Mayweather "a little shrimp" (right before he beat hoya), "runner" much more... and now Paulie gets huge credit for fighting the same way minus the added skill (better defense) and increased power Floyd nevertheless packs. As a floyd fan and colorblind i will say i did like malignaggi tonight although i'm not impressed.. Floyd mayweather didn't pack power because he was pressed to go up until he looked real small vs Hoya, but still beat him. Paulie is still clearly in his natural weight. If he goes up he will be massacred.. Should stay as he is.

Paulie didn't run tonight. Dirrell definitely had he's running shoes on. Paulie just moved enough to get out of range and then came back in to do his work. He was throwing like 4, 5, 6 punch combinations and made N'dou look like he was in slow motion. What he did tonight wasn't runnig it was pure boxing.

another ridiculous thread...i'm so sick of people accusing hbo of being 'racist', sure they have there preferences on some fighters...but Malignaggi was great tonight, and I dont even like the guy and i still admit it! Floyd versus Baldomir was boring, just accept it. Floyd is known for his defense and he doesn't throw alot of punches because of his weak hands. Malignaggi wasn't 'running', when you are a BOXER with only 5 KO's he was keeping his distance against a fighter who had much more power than him and as the fight progressed was becoming more and more wreckless because Ndou knew he needed a KO to win.

We should really be trashing Ndou, he ran his mouth more than any fighter i've seen, calling out Gatti, Mayweather, Hatton, and never shut up and he just got his ass handed to him by Malignaggi.
