Man your spelling sucks. ****ing owned. Why have people got to be such *******s. You are welcome to your opinion of who you think is good and everyone else is welcome to theres. Whats the big deal. If we all liked the same fighters then the sport would be pretty much pointless really. So what if people like Hatton or Mayweather or whoever else. Does not make them any less a person, and does not mean they should be talked to like ****. Why cant we just have a decent civilised conversation without getting all ****ing immature about things.

I agree. But how can Cotto put on 7 pounds and still be the same fighter? He might even be a better fighter at welter. Then you have Hatton who puts on 7 pounds and all of a sudden he has no strength? Collazo was not a strong welterweight.

Stubby Arms. Cotto at least has a reach, and has a hell of a jab

Collazo did not tower over Hatton they were roughly the same size. And as far as Collazo's strength, he has average power at best. If he was stronger than Hatton, that means Huggies is just weak...

Please rewatch Collazo-Hatton. It may not show it in the tale of the tape, but collazo was a GIANT in comparison. Its almost rediculous Hatton was able to win a round.

And Strenth and Power are 2 completely seperate things. Collazo is a strong guy.

Again, I don't think Collazo was stronger than Hatton. I think he was just too skilled for Hatton...

and to big. Again, please rewatch maybe on youtube. Hatton was a midget in comparison.

He is supposed to be top 15 P4P, one of the best fighters in the world. If he is that talented, he should be able to compete at a high level with 7 pounds on his frame. It's not like he started at 130...

Very leaky defense. His offensive talent is there. Even you can admit that. But he definetly has a defnsive disadvantage, and he lacks a jab at all. He jumps in with a lot of shots. On the inside he is a fine fighter

If his timing is "ridiculous" and his power is "wicked," I don't think 7 pounds would be enough to make it completely disappear...

he still had power at 147. And he still had great timing. Watch the tape my friend. lol. Collazo was a GIANT. And had very LONG ARMS

How can 7 pounds make such a difference to a fighter that is well known for being anything from 168-180 outside the ring?

Fact is hatton could make 147-154 with ease,

Compare this to mayweather, he weights 150 outside the ring, yet won the WBC title at 154, so he had to put on weight to move up,

Hatton didnt at all, because he comes down in weight to fight, he never has to gain weight, how is it easier for him to drop from 168 down 140, then it is to 140?

Surely he would feel better at 147 cos he wouldnt have to drain himself as much?

Hatton weighs at least 168 outside the ring and he wants us to believe that 7pounds is the difference between him being world class or not,

Im not saying the 7 pound difference doesnt affect him at all, but i dont think it makes a major difference.

And to answer the above, i dont care about ring magazine belt, it doesnt account for hatton not wanting to fight floyd at 140, whatever those rankings say, floyd is the best fighter at 140 pounds, and would beat anyone at that weight, as long as he can still make 140 ok.
to get Back on point, i have requoted my above post.

Because he is taller than hatton, putting on weight is likely to have more of an effect on a smaller person, this is simple stuff yet you guys start a full blown debate over it.

The words better, good or great should not be in the same sentence with Hatton. He sucks

How do you go from being top 15 P4P in one division, to being a fringe contender at best just 7 pounds up? That just makes absolutely no sense to me...

Hatton has a lot of fans from all over the world.
Saying that Ricky only has fans from the UK is about as dumb as Judah's statement about Cotto only having Latino fans.

I am Mexican and I like Ricky.

I have to root for Hatton in his fight against Castillo.

                      Go Little Ricky Go!

Let me put it to you this way. I own 10 times more Hatton fights than I do Castillo fights.
