Floyd's not gonna stand toe-to-toe with a bigger man. He stood there at 147 and below(excluding the Baldomir fight in which Carlos was slow as a snail). He stood with Corrales, Castillo, Corley, Judah, and Gatti. Only fight I could consider running is the Baldomir fight where he tried to make him look ******.

Who said anything about toe to toe? Why not try "throw more than half-hearted jabs and 1-2's and go after Oscar like you said you would when he was clearly tired?" The plan worked to perfection, and I wanted him to finish the job, but he didnt have the nuts to carry it out.

And I dont care about "running". I had no problem with the Baldomir fight, but in a big fight like the one vs Oscar where he is THE MAN and you promise a KO, execute a perfect gameplan to get an opportunity to do so, and DONT DO IT?!?! Get real. Even yankees fans boo their team sometimes...you guys are unbelievable.

I think the biggest way to show "guts" in adversity is to keep calm and strategize. Strategy is what wins a fight, and like it or not, Floyd is a master strategist and he always remains in control. If you can remain in control of yourself, you can remain in control of the fight. That is what he does.

It's easy to say Judah has more guts than Floyd right now because Judah has lost 5 times, Floyd none. No matter what is said, Floyd has proven himself and despite the fact that he may choose not to be the aggressor, he is always the winner. Plain and simple.

I respect Judah significantly and more than ever after his fight against Cotto. My biggest gripe with him was his obvious lack of strategy and preparation. It seemed to me as if he trained and got in shape, but failed to study up on his opponent and strategize. This was obvious by even Yoel giving him bs advice such as, "You need to hit him because your daughters are out there and your family is out there", as if that will have any baring. If you are not mentally prepared which is what is paramount, you can not win a fight, no matter how many family members are out there.

Zab Judah needs a new trainer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has a lot of talent, but it is not being cultivated properly. I think he actually regained a lot of respecr for his "Correlas style" performance as he did not give up. However, if he ever wants to beat Cotto or anyone else of that caliber, he will need a trainer that can perpare him properly, both mentally and physically.

As for Floyd, he is the pound for pound greatest and that remain. At least for now.

As far as him not pressing for KO, I think he needs to do better in that regard. Floyd could have KO'd Oscar and he did not. I think he needs to start proving what many say, which is that he hits hard.

Floyd's whole mindset was to outbox Oscar. If he went for a KO an exchange would've happened and Floyd isn't good at trading. He said all that about Oscar to promote the fight and to bother Oscar.

I understand that. But, I do feel that as much and as great as Floyd is and proclaims to be, he should try different strategy. Sometimes, you need to sway from your norm and a KO would have been lovely. IMO.

It also got him a loss just like it got Sugar Ray Leonard a loss in his first match with Duran. Instead fighting mad and trying to prove to Duran and everybody else he could brawl and stand toe to toe and trade he should have done what he did in the 2nd match which was box his ears off and use his advantages and fight his fight and say **** what everybody thinks its about winning.
Judah may have some of yalls respect but guess what the money he will make in his next match will go down because of his lose instead going up because he won.

No exchange was going to happen because Oscar was finished in those late rounds and Floyd knew it. Floyd IS good at trading, he is the master at it as we saw vs Corley, he also has a 2 inch reach advantage on Oscar. There is no excuse besides fear.

Lol ok so he promised something TO HIS FANS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC, then didnt even try to do it. There were no mindgames there, thats wishful thinking. You will make an excuse for anything he does because you are a nuthugger.

Its called promoting a fight, but you wouldn't understand cuz ur a hater. Oscar was not finished. Maybe mentally but not physically.

And you think Oscar got robbed HA. That's funny as hell.
