He also has fought Taylor twice, Trinidad when he was still in his prime,Oscar, and now Winky when he is still on top of his game, not to mention oving up to light heavy and beat a biger Tarver. Hopkins has fought the elite competition of his era. Taylor, Trinidad and Tarver all in there primes, something Floyd has yet to do. Hopkins may be boring but that is where the difference is.

Great post my friend! I dont think anyone wants to see the sweet science anymore, i guess thats why we are losing alot of fan base to ufcDoes anyone even care for the sweet science or is boxing to everyone when two fighters just slug it out also known as entertainment instead of sport?Comment

Running like a *****, boxings suppose to be entertainment. Not bore-fest, he gets paid millions to entertain not to bore us. He is a horrible boxer, and he'll be remembered as a coward who retired at the age of 30 and hasn't even fought more then 40 fights. He's afraid, because he knows theres boxers out there that can beat himComment

Dont be ******, Oscar tried to KO floyd but couldnt, floyd didnt try to KO oscar but could. Youre the one who's pathetic for not understanding what im saying.and many people on here as well as some experts promised that oscar would knock floyd out, but i don't see you criticizing them. all i read from your pathetic threads is the same bull****. you like floyd, but are holding a grudge against him from not doing what he said he would. that's called not getting over yourself, and you are the spokesperson for this.Comment

Oscar has been in there with the best fighters of this generation and only been KO'd by ONE who happened to be much bigger than him, dont be rediculous to think someone MUCH smaller than him is going to KO him, hes not.Comment

What if...
Ok. Here's my take on Floyd's fight with Oscar.
And I may or may not be wrong.
Floyd could've easily taken Oscar out in any round. Yes I said it.
Despite Oscar's effort to pressure and hurt Floyd, he was effective to a certain extent. Enough to rally the crowd at times.
However, due to Floyd's superior conditioning, it was apparent that much of Oscar's strategy was pretty much average at best. This, despite the disadvantage in weight, ring size, glove brand, and purse split, not to mention the majority pro-Oscar crowd.
After a while, Oscar's fans, at the MGM and watching on tv, knew the outcome was soon to be in favor of Floyd. Such was Floyd's superior skill.
Now, what if Floyd didn't want to give his all, thereby giving Oscar a false sense of confidence in order to lure him into a rematch?
Kind of like a repeat of Castillo I & II. Can you say $$ Ka-ching $$?
I say this now that it's not likely they'll ever meet in the ring again.
