      good post. totally agree.

PBF would make easy work w/Cotto w/counters all night looong. I actually strongly think PBF would TKO Cotto...

You apparently have an ides of boxing as being a chess match and nothing else. And while there is a good deal of strategy and timing, there also has to be the force behind the strategy and timing.

Look at it this way: If you put two fighters in the ring, equal in conditioning, talent, speed, skill and ability, but one has quite a bit more power than the other. Who wins? The guy with the bigger ****, of course.

And Gatti has never been a boxer, why did it surprise anyone that Mayweather was able to do whatever he wanted to him? Just another joke opponent in Mayweather's resume. If he's so ****ing good, why didn't he do the same thing to Oscar that he did to Gatti? Because he was afraid to, that's why.
You really think he was afraid? You ever heard of baiting people in. Just like you feel he was scared I will give my take on why the fight was close and why I think he fought that way. I think he fought that way on purpose to make all the fans and De la Hoya feel the way they do now. Which is the fight was close and had De la Hoya done A, B or C he would have won. In doing this PBF now can have a rematch make over 20 million again and this time blow De la Hoya out because there will not be a another need for a rematch. He is a business man and with his motto of "Win first, look good second" why couldn't this have been his strategy all along. Seeing as though all he wants to fight is De la Hoya now because of the money he can make. I am not saying this is what really happened but it could be.
Some of yall should stop thinking with hate on your mind it clouds your judgement.

The ultimate goal of Boxing is getting a KO. When you say you're going to do that, and have the other guy on the ropes and dont do it, it shows you might have talent but you're no fighter. A gladiator and a warrior doesnt settle for anything less than giving his all for the ultimate prize.

Floyd to me is like someone who has a 500k Ferrari but is to scared to hit 70mph with it. I wont respect him for having something and not using it...Corky Spinks couldve beaten Oscar in just as ****ty a manner as Floyd did, but at least he wouldnt have ripped people off by building up hype and not delivering for no reason.

Floyd fans. Now is a good time to go to Floyd's camp and get a job.
I am sure most of you would qualify for one of the jobs above.

Hurry! Run and get your applications.

Anyway, getting back to the topic at hand.

Does Judah have more balls than GayFeathers?

You are God damn right he does.

Floyd is the queen of chacha.

We also have too many ***** made fools on here like you. This is a boxing forum with good discussion not a hating forum with little fruit pops that talk about nuts all day.

The goal is to hit and not get hit. Not every boxer is a gladiator or warrior. Not every boxer is Marvin Hagler or Duran.

The goal of amateur boxing is to hit and not get hit. Why the **** do you think they use judges and take the headgear off for the pros? If it was still hit and not get hit theyd keep the gear on and use punchcounters to decide fights.

I'd think any fighter would like to take as less damage as possible. Whitaker, Mayweather, and others agree about the goal. Whoever lands more punches. If I land more in a round then I win.

Going on offense doesnt automatically translate into taking damage, especially for a talented guy like Floyd. He can do it, he doesnt want to because he is afraid. So if he's afraid, stop hyping the fights with lies! For him, it is a lie because he can do it and chooses not too, unlike say a Shannon Briggs or Hasim Rahman.

There are many examples of fighters winning fights although landing fewer punches even within rounds.

Whitaker and Winky Wright's styles are based around their weaknesses, weaknesses Floyd does not have.
