Floyd won 8 rounds of 12 in my opinion. Floyd could have taken more rounds but chose not to be active and fought defensive for the most part. If Floyd fought exactly the way he wanted I think he would have won easier but it wouldn't have been as good a fight. I could give a flying **** about some poll.
Did Floyd Mayweather Win? Boxingscene Poll Says No.

while this is probably true(not for me, I work in the hood w/ at risk kids for cryin out loud), what is also true is that white wanna-be thugz and also racist blacks are Floyds primary source of nuthuggery.Comment

Most of the black people I know(including myself) are Floyd fans so I don't know about racist blacks. I think some just hate to see a trash talking black man on top of the sport. Others just don't like what he says which is cool but, I can't stand people who doubt his boxing ability.Comment

No, because every knowledgable fan and everyone on press row had it for Floyd, and the great majority decisively.Has anyone else noticed the results of the poll on the main page of boxingscene.com?
Only 40.8% of people think that Floyd Mayweather won the fight with Oscar De La Hoya, while 43% think DLH won. 16% think the fight was a draw.
One would have to conclude from this poll that it was not a decisive victory for Floyd Mayweather. If PBF cannot convincingly defeat a past prime De La Hoya, he certainly would have lost to a younger DLH. Does this indicate that PBF is overrated, and isn't really a top p4p fighter?
Thats because it was decisive.
Theres too many ****** people who couldnt tell that Oscars punches were getting consistantly blocked and Floyd was tagging Oscar all night long.Comment

Floyd clearly won this fight I had it 8-4 the first time and 9-3 the second time.
If you think the Boxingscene front page poll is bad then you should check the HBO polls which is even worse, this clearly explains that most people hate Mayweather or their just blind idiots.

Im mad at him for saying he would KO or at least try to KO oscar and then refusing to do either(not because he couldnt, because he wouldnt-either from fear or laziness). I had him pegged to win, and actually WANTED him to win after that hilarious mexican stunt(USA ALL THE WAY BABY), but that lack of desire/aggression/whatever was preposterous. If youre GOING to have a robbery, or at least a questionable close decision, historically it has rightfully swung the champions way, not to mention that round for round the fight was at the very least a draw IMO if you take ALL factors into account. Most of the black people I know(including myself) are Floyd fans so I don't know about racist blacks. I think some just hate to see a trash talking black man on top of the sport. Others just don't like what he says which is cool but, I can't stand people who doubt his boxing ability.
I'm just happy it was at least a controversial split decision. That fact, combined with Floyd's poor performance in the eyes of most boxing fans besides the nuthuggers @ boxingscene, should leave a decent sized blemish on Floyd's reputation. Im no floyd basher, I dont call his style "running" or say he ducks people, but the aforementioned result is undeniable.Comment

I had the fight a draw
4 rounds for Del
4 rounds for PBF
4 rounds even
But since Delahoya made it a fight and PBF did nothing but run I think Delahoya should of won because it he was the champ and you are supposed to take the belt not run from it.Comment
