Joe Mesi

I've become awfully frustated with Mesi's 'lack of progress' in his pursuit to get ranked and eventually get a title shot. Since 2006, Joe has fought and won 6 bouts and has KO'd his last two opponents. The problem is, the level of opposition he's been facing is so weak, that fans and boxing analysts can't really gauge how good or bad he is.

True. His comeback hasn't really been all that impressive. When he first made his comeback he was overweight and in bad shape and I wondered why he would do that after all the trouble he had gone through to be allowed to fight again. He's made slow progress since then, but to be honest, I'll be very surprised if he ever gets back to where he was before.

And if you look further down Johson's awful 21-21 record, you'll see that he was also KO'd by Fernando Vargas at middleweight. Now this really disturbs me; Mesi's opponents seem to be going from bad to down-right awful as he progesses(I mean digresses) in his career. Mesi's matchmaker should not only be fired, but be banned from boxing because of his irresponcible and idiotic match-making. The whole thing stinks, if you ask me....
Mesi's making a joke of himself.
