Roy Jones is far far superiour in terms of absolute talent, and physical gifts, but PBF is far far superiour as far as mastery of the craft is concerned.

Roy was faster and hit harder; Mayweather is better technically. Depends on how one defines talent.

Roy had more raw talent, Floyd was harder worker.

                  Roy Jones Jr

He was invincible in his prime. nobody touches him while PBF had troubles winning some of his earlier fights.

Roy was the P4P for quite a while and he dominated TWO sure-fire Hall of Famers IN THEIR PRIME. Floyd has been on the p4p list for nine years, and at the top of the list for three.

They both SHOULD have won Olympic gold. They both won legitimate titles in multiple weight classes.

ROCK SOLID FIRST-BALLOT HALL OF FAMERS.

Jones had more talent and skill. Roy just got invovled with too much outside the ring. He was more offensive and knew how to close the show. His punches hurt people also; even when he had to skate to UD's.
