Roy on the other hand, he was just born with it...u just can't teach what he does...
Yes you can teach RJJ's style. Hes one of the 1st fighters to stricly be a counter puncher. its not just **** your born with, its training from a young age. RJJ started @ 7? Prolly earlier since his dad was a fighter [lost to Hagler].

Point is PBF is a counter puncher and RJJ started it. You see RJJ in the ams he he did more than show talent....he showed skill. Your not born with that. Its years and years of proper training. Training everyday.. RJJ claimed to train 365.4 days a year long before PBF did.

Roy Jones all the way imo. Defensive skills are great but its like watching paint dry if there is not much offense. Roy Jones loved the knockout

RJJ was more of a raw athlete who was a physical freak. PBF perfected boxing. Both were/are immensely talented and both will be in the HOF as two of the best ever.

Mayweather easily, roy jones is an all time great imo, and was a one-off, but he had techincal flaws which he got away with cos of his reflexes and speed,

Mayweather is the closest thing to technical brilliance ive ever seen, say what you want about the guy, His skills are never in question, arguably the best skill set ever seen in a ring.

Ali did things too that could be considered flaws. Its flaws to those that havent mastered the art. Ali is or is not considered the be "the greatest?"

            SRR's skills dwarfed PBF's.

See this is where people get confused. Talent IS atheletic ability.

Talent: the natural endowments of a person

RJJ was the more talented aka atheletic aka physically gifted fighter. PBF is the more skilled fighter.

                Are you serious?

What Sugar ray robinson fights have you seen?

Please list them all, with a technical discription of what skills he had that mayweather didnt,

                lol.

Dwarf mayweather my ass, he got his ass beat by friggin jake lamotta.

No Ali skill for skill is not better than mayweather, as fighter, thats another arguement, we are talking about skill sets here.

Mayweather's skill set is the most complete ive ever seen, thats all i can say.

Dude, whats with the constant tearing down of people's opinions that Floyd is on the same level of Roy?

Ali is "the greatest" because he is the greatest HEAVYWEIGHT of all time, which means he would beat any fighter in history. It has nothing to do with overall skill.

SRR was a great fighter, but again, his power was a physical gift and is only a small part of what is considered SKILL inside the ring. When discussing boxing, Floyd is among the cream of the crop when it comes skill inside the ring.

This is an easy question to answer: RJJ has more natural talent than the highly skilled Mayweather.

Mayweather's learned a lot of technical skills from his father and uncle, starting at an early age. But RJJ became a great boxer without those advantages.
