You cant say Miranda has a suspect chin. He took so much punishment before he finaly went down. If that had been anyone else, Pavlik would have had a first round KO.

I dont like seeing people bash fighter when they put on such a great show. Pavlik and Miranda are two great warriors, they both have my respect.

And you're also the idiot that opens his mouth before reading anyone's posts for accurate info. ALOT of other people picked Lacy to win as well as Miranda. I apologize for not having a crystal ball to get every pick right. Before this fight Pavlik was a BIG question mark because his oppossition hadn't tested him in the way that Miranda could. His toughest fight was against Bronco McKart who's a career Jr. Middle & past his best. And if you look at my first post in the thread you'd see I gave Pavlik his due. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't you the poster that was calling him the "great white hype"?

Spinks had trouble making weight even though he said he just walked it off. Pavlik said he didn't eat for 24 hours prior to the weigh-in and only had sips of water to make weight, so he had his pronlems as well. The fight was fast and Pavlik pressured Miranda unlike anyone else has. Miranda will learn form this defeat. He never took ownership for losing to Abraham, but he must now realize he was more than beat by Pavlik, and maybe a style change and a focus on some fundamentals could come down the road. I hope Miranda comes back better after this loss, he is a part of the very talented middle divisions (light, middle, super-middle).

I dont think most people realize that everyone has trouble making weight. Making weight is not easy, nor is it fun. Its a real pain in the ass.

wlads fight was a one sided massacre in his favor until he hit a wall. that was a totally different scenario than the competitive slugfest with miranda and pavlik
